Greatest product for making cannoli. A just the right size for what i needed.

I moved to the PNW from NY and miss cannolis so much. So I decided to make my own. Using a recipe I found on youtube, I managed to make perfect cannolis the first time, with only the first two coming out not great. Small trick, if you are new to it, roll the dough out paper thin. I thought it wouldn't hold together that thin, but I was wrong. Pastry came off form without any sticking and they cleaned up easily. Would recommend to other, especially at this price point.

The tubes worked great for my family's annual cannoli shell making party. They are sturdy. The cannoli shells deep fry well on them. The disc cutter cuts circles too big for the tubes. I didn't use the pastry bag yet. I use a plastic sealable baggie with a corner cut off for filling the cannoli so that I can seal the bag. For the price and the amount of tubes included in this set, I am happy with this purchase. Make sure to count the tubes if you purchase! I had to return the first set I ordered because it was missing a few tubes and the pastry bag and cutter.

The reason I ordered these over other ones is the promise date was the next day whereas the other ones were 2 days or more away and I needed them urgently to make cannolis for a specific date. They did show up on time! I was a nervous wreck due to a family gathering the next day where cannolis were promised. Because all Amazon was telling me was that delivery would be anytime between now and 3 days away, I was getting ready to drive 3 hours round trip to spend time I didn't have to go to a store that had them in stock and return these when they arrived. They finally arrived in the knick of time and I tore them out of the package and started making cannolis the second the delivery driver dropped them off. They worked well except the cutter didn't cut great. It either wasn't sharp enough or wasn't perfectly flat on the cutting edge and was a struggle to cut the dough all the way through. We made it work, though. First time making cannolis and they turned out great.

I read reviews for these tubes before purchasing them and I liked the idea of squeezing them to loosen cannolis which made it very easy to remove them. They turned out great! Only one stuck on the tube from getting egg mixture on the tube while gluing the dough together. I dusted with flour generously per rolling them out and when they don't stick to the rolling pin, they won't stick on the tube. I took the advice of one review and sterilized needle nose pliers for removing cannolis from the tubes since the oil is slippery on the hands. Game changer! I'm very happy with this investment and looking forward to using the tubes for future gatherings!

Love this little set. Haven't used it yet, but it has everything I need . I found a recipe for the cannoli cream but it calls for Mascarpone cheese and I can't find that in my area. It is like $37 for 8 ounces on Amazon.

Who knew that making your own Cannoli's could be so much fun I researched recipes for fillings and for batter. Too many cannoli's to eat myself. But lots of fun experimenting. Production tip: make the batter thin. They will cook faster and taste better
