Good Value, Good Product
WE USE BOXES AND BOXES OF THESE EACH YEAR. WE ALWAYS BUY GENUINE FESTOOL DOMINOES AND THEY ALWAYS FIT AS THEY SHOULD. THESE ARE JUST LOOSE TENONS SO THERE ISN'T MUCH TO GO WRONG, BUT IT CERTAINLY ISN'T WORTH HOLDING UP THE SHOP TO SAVE A COUPLE BUCKS TO FIND OUT THE GENERICS ARE JUST A TOUCH OFF. THESE ARRIVE QUICKLY, AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN CONSISTENT IN SIZE AND QUALITY. FESTOOL DOES A PRETTY GOOD JOB WITH THEIR VENDORS MAKING SURE YOU CAN PREDICT THE PRICING MONTH TO MONTH, REGARDLESS OF WHERE YOU BUY THEM.

Festool wood tenons
These are tenons used with the Festool Domino 500 mortise cutter. They are much easier than making your own to fit the mortises cut by the machine. The tenons are very strong, consistent in size and easy to use. They make great joints in wood, usable for furniture, jigs and many other applications. Much stronger and more precise than biscuits. These are replacements for the first batch I bought with the machine, which I have almost used up.

I think that if you are purchasing these you have already bought into the Festool brand. I have the multi-pack systainer and go through these atleast once a month. Nice to know the refills are easily accessible at what is an arguable acceptable price all things considered. We all know these maintenance costs were part of buying into Festool! Can't believe I used to use a router and make my own tenons. So many hundreds of hours have been saved and converted to billable hours. Worth it.

Ich bin Laie und habe die DF500 seit 2013. Damals brauchte ich für die Zierleisten ein 45° Fräse. Seit dem benutze ich das tolle Teil für allerlei Reparaturen, gerade baue ich mir einen robusten Tisch für einen Pizzaofen. Preis ist ok, denn die Fräse funktioniert und ist im Ergebnis recht präzise. Dabei auch leicht zu bedienen und bleibt an der Position, sie verrutscht also nicht.
