Took a chance for use on stage, and was not disappointed.
I was looking for a set of IEMs for use on stage. As a musician and sound tech, I've learned to be weary of too-good-to-be-true pricing & advertising, or off-brand gear most of the time. Based on the small number of reviews here, and my tendency to take risks, I bought a couple of these for me & my wife. I was not disappointed. I've been listening to these for a few hours, trying to find some shortfalls, and to my ears, they are excellent. They sound completely smooth, top to bottom. And the bass response goes deep. Running through a tone generator, I'm getting consistent response down to 40Hz, below which it tapers off to nothing by around 25 Hz. The highs start to taper off at about 15kHz, tapering off completely by about 17 kHz. (The average adult can't hear these frequencies very well, if at all, though I'm still able.) I haven't found that this realistically impacts the breathiness of vocals or cymbals. There is very slight accentuation around 4.5 kHz and 6 kHz, which add to the clarity, but is not boosted enough to sound harsh even when turned up loud - unless you're listening to a track where the mastering engineer obviously got carried away with the highs (like I am right now), in which case it will be more sibilant. On better-mixed tracks, sibilance is not an issue. These are going to be replacing the earphones I've been using for the last 12 years for causal listening as well. I can hear parts in songs that I haven't noticed before - particularly with bass solos, wherein the notes are very well articulated & clear. The only thing I can really complain about is that the cord is a little on the short side - I plug directly into an Aviom A360 on stage, so this required an extension. If I were plugging into a wireless pack, though, the length would be perfect.

Not bad
So I needed some new buds for work after the cleaning company vacuumed my other ones up, decided to buy these out of a bit of morbid curiosity. Bias of other reviews on here are... questionable at best, probably not real. I was stoned when I bought them so I missed that initially. That's life. Honestly probably would not have purchased if I saw that before, but here we are. Price was great for the specs compared to mainstream options obviously. I have experience with higher end audio -- at home I have a studio and have had numerous over the ear monitor headphones in the past. I use some Shure SRH840 as beaters around the house -- I would honestly compare the sound from these buds to those over the ears. They honestly sound really nice. The internal crossover does a pretty solid job. Build quality is great. Cords could be better, you kind of notice some hints of generic Chinese manufacturing here and there, but nothing that takes away from durability. They are comfy in the ear as well. Moral of the story is that I won't be returning these, they are worth it at the price point.

BAD SOUND QUALITY.
Terribly disappointing sound quality - very thin and hallow. Comes in a beautiful case with many accessories but it doesn't make up for the horrible sound. You can get MUCH better sounding earphones for a fraction of the cost.

Two Stars
Poor base response, though mid and upper ranges are clear, but not as described.

These are awesome hybrids. I never had balanced armature (BA) before ...
These are awesome hybrids. I never had balanced armature (BA) before but man they make mids and highs sound clear and great. the dynamic hybrid for the bass made these also great in the low end department but not overpowering. The build quality was top notch with the metal housing for the buds themselves. I love these and I took a random chance at these, considering it was chi-fi over $100, but it was well worth it. Definitely more bassy than Pinnacle P1, I like these better and $80 less! Hope they come back in stock sooner than later though!

5Star
I tried this pair of earphones with my favorite music CD – Joshua Bell’s Romance of the Violin. The sound quality is super compared with my other earbuds (Apple iPhone 5 5S 6 6S EarPods Earphones W/Remote & Mic and OEM Original Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ Note 5 Headset Earphone Earbud EO-HS3303WE). I can tell the big difference when I am listening to these classical music CDs. Great recordings will shine when using this earbuds. This earbuds can be your everyday earphone but it can be more than that. I am a classical music lover and it really makes music CDs “musical-sounding”. Super. I give this earbuds 5 stars
