The Looney Tunes Show: There Goes The Neighborhood S1P2 (DVD)

I purchased this DVD to complete this collection as best as I can. This DVD in a good addition. Although I do not agree with the labeling as a part 2, the cartoons are good though. it's the newer version of the Looney tunes. Note: The second is not available on DVD like all of my other collections I own, which found to be disenchanting.

This is what I always imagined Bugs, Daffy and the other classic Looney Tunes characters like retired from their everyday jobs and living in the suburbs! Bugs is definitely more of the straight man these days and not as wild and over the top, but his deadpan delivery compared to Daffy's hilarious narcissistic antics are perfect! There is more than enough jokes and "in" gags for the old school fans as well as enough for the kids and newbies to the Looney Tunes universe! My kids (4 and 6 year olds) love this show, and I've gotten them hooked on the classic shorts as well! Now if we could get the rest of the series...and please Warner, no more 4-episode discs EVER AGAIN! Give the rest of the series to us if not in one complete season set, then like this set is: half a season at a time.

My wife and I loved this show. It’s completely hilarious. Got the 1st part of Season 1 and had to get this one, too. Really hoping they release the second season. I don’t think anybody really gave it a chance but it’s great for the adult who grew up with Looney Tunes.

This series is fantastic. Much better than the original Looney Tunes in my opinion. The characters are a lot funnier and the story-lines, situations and dialogue are really funny as well, and the voice actors deliver the lines perfectly. Part of the humor in this series is the ability to be able to relate to the characters at certain times. However, the thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that, while most episodes are brilliant, some are a bit boring, and the Roadrunner animated sequences are not funny at all and are tedious to sit through (but that's what the fast forward buttons for.) Also, sometimes the characters are a bit too nasty and it can kind of subtract from the humor. But still, MOST of the time this show is hilarious, I actually laugh out loud watching it. The characters personalities have been perfected and maximized to make them the funniest they can be. A great show.

Nothing to dislike at all. Just wish I could get the entire series, but haven’t been successful with that venture, yet. Really enjoy all of them. Thanks.

I love this show, and while the second season episodes flowed much better than the first season (I'm not a fan of the musical numbers in between storylines), I still had to have season 1 on dvd, even if it was broken up into separate releases. This particular one has the remaining 14 episodes of season 1 where we start to see more of Lola and the series starts to come into its own after a rough introductory 12 episodes from the prior releases.

Love the fact all the Looney character are here! and a big fan of Both Bugs and Daffy working together! Those two when put together,Its hilarious! Each episode is really well written and funny story in each episode! Wish this show got a third season! A shame it ended to soon.
