DDR3 memory
Good solid memory. Working well with no defects found after install. Just be sure you check the level of DDR and connection type before purchase. No issues installing in older dell laptop.

Great product.
Glad I could find this older memory. Works perfectly and has a good price point.

Excellent!
I purchased this memory to install in and upgrade my son's Acer Aspire E15 Laptop which originally came brand new with 6 GB of installed RAM, 1 4 GB stick and a 2 GB stick How dumb is that? So I immediately added a second 4 GB stick to bring the RAM up to 8 GB but my son wasn't happy. Neither was I. I'm not saying that 8 GB is horrible for most users by any means but my son is an autistic 21 year old who refuses to ever turn off his machine because he leaves numerous windows open, he has everything on it running all the time and it was really running slow. Tortoise like slow! Install was simple, it took under 5 minutes. I removed 3 tiny screw on the back of the laptop to remove a panel so that I had access to the old memory. I pinched both clips on each stick and they flipped up for easy extraction. From there it was just a matter of inserting the new RAM and giving each module a gentle push downward to lock them in and then replace the panel on the back. Voila! Upon booting up the first time after the swap I had no issues. The computer recognized 16 GB as expected and it is now much more responsive. As I did this job while he was sleeping I took the liberty of doing some maintenance work. I defragged, ran the cleaner, did the various updates, etc. Oh, and I deleted his old unread gmail. About 4500 of them! LOL Although I haven't owned this RAM for an extended period of time I'm not bothered by reviewing at such an early date. There are so many positive reviews and I have never had an issue with any RAM myself so I am confident. This product is a bargain in price as far as I am concerned. It has made a huge improvement in performance and is worth it's modest price easily. I highly recommend this memory.

Worked perfectly in my old ASUS K55A laptop.
I wanted to upgrade my ASUS K55A laptop (running Ubuntu 24.04 LTS) from 4 GB RAM to 16 GB. These memory modules worked perfectly for this, and now my trusty old laptop doesn't have to use swap memory if I open a few tabs in Firefox (or Chrome or Brave).

The memory modules get an average 4.5 star review, which is pretty good for PC memory
I returned two sticks of A-Tech 2x8GB DDR3/DDR3L SODIMM 1600 mHz, but I may have been wrong about the RAM being 'bad'. After returning the RAM I ordered the same spec memory made by Crucial. It also failed to POST. So I knew I had to more thoroughly debug the failure to POST (two sets of bad RAM are really unlikely). I changed the BIOS settings for memory from XMS1600 to Automatic. This allowed the system to POST and then run as it should. My system is an old but still useful Intel DQ77KB thin ITX motherboard with an Core i3 Ivy Bridge cpu. The BIOS is old, but relatively up to date (2017). As some of you may know, Intel got out of the motherboard business in 2013, so support for this board is sketchy. The original memory modules were Kingston Hyperx 1.5V whereas the replacement memory by A-Tech and Crucial were 1.35V / 1.5V. The BIOS settings apparently were not allowing the system to adjust to the new RAM. Long sad story short, I think this memory likely would have worked fine if I had done the necessary debugging I did with the Crucial modules that replaced this memory.

Seems to function good, & did raise performance.
Shipped on time, in nice secure packaging, worked upon install. The one thing it did raise is my Windows performance "calculations per second" score to about 7.1 (about spot on but don't remember if it was this or 7.0 exactly) & this nearly the max value it can have. The other scores however did not raise vastly except I think the graphics one went up to 5 where before it was 1 (this very important as graphics is a demanding ball buster). Memory tester showed ram ok with no errors. I did see some performance increases, but it was not as dramatic as I thought it would be. One aspect that did change much for the better was stability with a bunch of programs open as this always causes an issue if I get carried away with trying "to do too much". Would recommend buying if at this price. I believe the ram is a big name manufacturer as that is what showed up in a system information program. ONE WARNING CAVEAT THAT MAY SAVE YOU LIFE WHEN BUYING RAM: DO NOT...I REPEAT...DO NOT TAKE A "HARDWARE INFORMATION" PROGRAM'S WORD FOR IT THAT YOUR MACHINE MAY TAKE A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF RAM AS THE PROGRAM IS READING WHAT THE MANUFACTURER PUT ON A CHIP, MAYBE BECAUSE THEY WERE GOING TO EXPAND THIS LATER ON OR SOMETHING, BUT WHATEVER AS I BOUGHT ONE THAT WAS TWICE OF WHAT I NEEDED BECAUSE OF THIS & IT DID NOT FUNCTION AS IT WAS DOUBLE WHAT THE MACHINE WAS ABLE TO DO. SO I RECOMMEND TO STUDY THIS ISSUE VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE BUYING AS IT WILL SAVE YOU A BUNCH OF HEADACHES. MAYBE EVEN GET 1 USED RAM CHIP FROM SOMEONE THAT THE HARDWARE TESTING PROGRAM SAYS WILL GO IN & TRY THAT IN ONE SLOT (THIS SHOULD WORK AS ONLY NEED ONE RAM CHIP FOR PC TO FUNCTION) AS THAT WILL IMMEDIATELY TELL YOU THE STORY - IF IT WORKS THEN THAT AMOUNT IS OK, IF NOT THEN ITS NOT OK (MOST LIKELY, BUT GUESS WHAT NOT ALL RAM WORKS EVEN IF IT IS THE RIGHT SIZE AS MANUFACTURER DIFFERENCES CAN BE A FACTOR!). NO I DON'T LOVE PEOPLE SO MUCH TO BE HANDING OUT ADVICE BECAUSE I LOVE THEM, BUT BECAUSE OF THE PEOPLE THAT DO A GREAT JOB OF PROVIDING THINGS WHEN I NEED IT. THIS WHOLE PROJECT WAS A TOTAL HELL OF HOURS OF RESEARCH & SIFTING THROUGH ADVICE WITH THE ONLY TELL BEING ACTUALLY BUYING IT & HAVING TO PAINFULLY RETURN THE ITEM. THE MANUFACTURERS STAT SHEET WAS VERY IFFY FOR MY PROCESSOR AS IT SUGGESTED IT MAY BE ABLE TO HANDLE THE EXTRA RAM WHEN IT COULD NOT SO CAVEAT EMPTOR. I WISH YOU LUCK & YOU WILL HAVE IT ONLY IF YOU HEED MY ADVICE OTHER WISE IT IS "TROUBLE CITY FOR YOU"!

Not working!
Product not working!!! Laptop turns on but with a black screen. First I have tried to install it together with my old Ram, not working, then tried to install it alone without my old Ram, not working, then tried to put back my old Ram alone and it does work. Obviously the problem is with this product, won't even bother returning it.

Bueno, bonito, barato.
