I put these in a basement bedroom where it gets extra cold in the winter from the cold seeping in through the window and I feel like these curtains do a great job at preventing that as much as possible. I don’t really have any issues with my room getting too hot in the summer so I can’t speak on whether or not they’re good at keeping the heat out, but it’s good with the cold. I also don’t get as much sunlight in the basement window because it’s in the basement, so I can’t make a full review on how well it does at blocking the sunlight out. I think it does a great job at blocking the sunlight out, though. I get sun beams in through the window in the morning which is annoying when I’m trying to sleep in, and these curtains do a wonderful job at blocking it out so I can stay asleep. I would say there’s still a tiny bit of light that you can see through the curtains but it doesn’t glare on your eyes at all— it’s more just if you open your eyes, you can see it through the curtains, but if you’re trying to sleep it won’t bother you. They weren’t wrinkled when I received them, but they did have some creases from shipping, so I ironed them. I love the color and I think they work and look great!
