My 2 yrs old granddaughter loves it. She draws circles and crazy lines laughs and one swipe it all goes away. We like it a lot that she learns different things with it. her imagination is really at work and its big enough to do the job. Nice and bright too. Super for all wanting to draw. Thanks

Great product. Fun to use and practice the alphabet, you can draw a picture to match the letter.

I got this for my grandson's 5th birthday and he loves it. He can sit and entertain himself over and over again with this. The only thing that would improve it is if the circle magnets were tied to it with a string like the pen. They are easy to lose and his mom ended up finding a way to connect them so they wouldn't get lost.

My toddler played and played with this magna doodle until it accidentally got stepped on and broke. It's the perfect size for in the car or to put in a backpack for travel. The stamps are fun however they could pose a choking hazard even for a 3 year old if they like to put things in their mouth. I took the magnet shapes because my kiddo likes to chew on things. The lines aren't super clean when you draw I think that's just how these things tend to work no matter which brand. The surface holds up to rough play. It's easy to erase and unlike the LCD tablets it doesn't use a button battery or any battery at all so you don't have to worry about your child swallowing one. I would rate it 5 stars for what it is, except those magnetic shapes are really not that safe. Maybe fine for an older kid or supervised use only. So minus 1 star, still a very good product.

I like to write down reminders on it. It’s also fun to just draw on. I remember these as a kid and the nostalgia still there. Very good gift for someone.

I’ve had this for a while and the colors are still vibrant. I use it with my students and it’s still durable. It looks great and “classic” which is what they love about it. It holds educational value as far as fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. I’d recommend it. Though the pieces are small and should be watched while with small children.

We just opened the package so this review more about initial impressions rather than durability. First, we already own a Fisher Price Classic Doodler. These are replacements for that one which has been dropped, stepped on, sat on, and most importantly - argued over by our two kids. So we purchased two of these Magna Doodles because they were less half the price of the new version of the Fisher Price doodler. -These Magna Doodles feel cheaply made and I wouldn't be surprised if the plastic cracks after being well loved by a 3 and 5 year old. -There was an oily substance leaking out of some of the seams of one of the manga doodles. I'm guessing that this is used to help the "eraser" slide across the board better. This one felt clunky and did not slide as smoothly as the other magna doodle did so maybe quality control went a little crazy with the oil trying to fix the problem. Or not. -The "writing" isn't as dark as what we were used to with the Fisher Price model. Not really a huge deal. -The magnet stampers are tiny. It was hard for me to get them out of their little holes with my giant grown-up hands. My 5-year old had trouble getting them out the very first time he used them but now doesn't have any trouble. That sounds like a lot of negatives but really, my kids aren't complaining about them so I gave them 3 stars because they get the job done and at half the price of the Fisher Price model. I'll probably send back the leaky Magna Doodle for a replacement and give my kids another week or two with them before deciding if we want to just fork over the extra $18 for the Slim Fisher Price version.

My 4 year old can read and write already. Legos and magna doodle are his go to's. Got one for the car and home. Originally had a no name equivalent, but it lasted a week. Magna doodle is good quality and is lasting a long time

This is the perfect travel size and fits nicely on a high chair table! Was great for our toddler at a restaurant!
