Low sodium. I dont exactly watch my sodium intake, but I much prefer this low sodium version compared to the original. That was way too high in sodium for a drink and it tasted way too salty too. This low sodium (95 mg) is so much better tasting to me. It has enough of a salty taste from potassium chloride (basically a salt alternative). Slightly more watery but still has a robust flavor. I find it very pleasant. But if you were looking for less salty taste.. this is still quite salty tasting just not as much as the original. I love that this tiny little can has 1 gram of fiber. Also 1 gram protein. I really didnt expect to see any. It also has a goodly amount of potassium (700 mg) .. again, which is what is replacing much of the sodium. Tiny 5.5 ounce cans. That is good or bad depending on what you are looking for. I like it room temp or cold. I just chug it. I imagine it works in cocktails and even as an addition to a soup, sauce or stew. Taste ok still seems salty to me

A few can were slightly dented due to delivery but other wise perfect.

My doctors told me I had to start taking potassium pills...these huge, chalky, horse pills that upset my stomach whether I ate a meal with them or not. My blood potassium levels kept dropping, resulting in a potassium IV drip...which is not a fun thing...feels like your arm is on fire from the potassium going in your vein. After a very NOT fun summer, and three hospital visits, and three potassium drips, I just happened to read the nutrition label on this tiny can of low sodium V8...wow! So, 5 or 6 gulps of this little veggie drink has exponentially more potassium in it (700 mg.) than one HUGE potassium pill (40)? I started drinking one 5.5 ounce can of Low Sodium V8 every night...it helped the hand full of pills (that I had to take every night since my heart attack) go down a lot easier than water. That was 15 years ago, and I haven't had a problem with my potassium levels since I started drinking it! You should always follow your doctor's instructions...but, if you don't like what potassium pills do to your gut, ask your doctor if you can try a low sodium V8 once or twice a day, instead. I even showed mine the nutrition label on one of my little cans...he was surprised. Who knows...it might work for you too. And, don't even get me started on how much I love the fact that the vegetables used to make this little gem, are all non-GMO now. SO... Non GMO, high potassium (for those of us on a diuretic), low sodium, and tastes fantastic..OH!...and it's a full serving of vegetables too! NON-GMO VEGETABLES! The only thing I could ask more of this tasty veggie juice is for an ORGANIC, non GMO version. I could ask...but I try not to look gift unicorns in the mouth. Healthy tasty drink for breakfast - night snack. Just the right amount. Low sodium still tasty and healthier. Good combination of veggies included. Thick juice.
