Excellent product. I live in an apartment where the hallway light is blocked by my molding on my deadbolt. Not being able to see up close, I had to feel around for the key hold before I fumbled to get it in. This works like a charm. Soft white light (not too bright) comes on when I motion towards the keyhole, but not when I just walk up. The light is soft, but enough to illuminate my key lock and allow me to clearly see the keyhole. Goes off about 5 seconds after it activates so doesn't shine when neighbors come/leave at night. Mounting was easy with the double side tape. No drilling or damage to your door. Size is perfect for a single door lock. Battery life seem ok but haven't had it that long.

A convenient, low-cost upgrade for any front door. It’s easy to install, bright, and reliable, with good battery efficiency. While it’s not meant to light large areas, it does exactly what it’s designed for-help you find your keyhole quickly and effortlessly. Easy to mount: Peel and stick! Recommend to first clean the surface where you plan stick it- and let it dry, before placing it on the door. If you rent and are afraid it’ll leave a mess when you remove later, use painters tape. Measure the size you need and stick it on the door negotiating the light on top of the tape. Motion sensors: light turns on as soon as my hand gets close to the lock. Turns off after a few seconds.

Easy to install. Comes with everything you need except the battery. Battery operated & lasts a long time. Works very well & quickly. Super bright. Great price.

This light works quite nicely where I mounted it about 2 inches above my deadbolt (which is above the door knife) and after dark (it doesn't come on in the daytime) if I reach for the knob or bring my hand with the key to the deadbolt lick it turns on practically instantly. It has more than enough light to find the keyhole BUT a couple of times it turned off after maybe 5 seconds then there's a delay before it will activate again. Mostly its stayed on long enough to get in my door BUT BE AWARE that if you are digging in a purse or pocket for keys it's going to time out on you. So just get your keys out before you approach the door. But overall, since I do get my keys out and I can just walk up to the door, stick my hand towards the locks and the light comes on I'm very pleased as it works so much better than finding the keyhole by the Braille method. One drawback was the double sided tape stuck to the light but wouldn't stick to my freshly painted door so mounting it got delayed... I went and got a tube of adhesive and put a little on the door side of the double sided tape and using bit of blue trim tape to hold it in place overnight until it cured, fixed that (but that's why only 4 stars, the attaching tape). If it lasts at least a year, I'll be happy and replace it with a new one (Chinese quality control is always a gamble)

Great little helper. Works just as advertised and so simple to install. Gives off good lighting and it's simple to use.

Wonderful product. Walk up and the light goes on and I can put my key or code in.

This little light is perfect to find the door's keyhole. It did not fit horizontally above the keyhole (too wide for the position I wanted it in) so I mounted it vertically beside the keyhole on another part of the door and it works perfectly. Bright but not so much as to wake up the neighbors in the middle of the night.

My front door requires a code for entry. Unfortunately, the area is dimly lit and one cannot see the numbers to punch in the code. This LED light is the perfect solution. It is motion activated as you approach the door, and I can now clearly see the numbers on the keypad. The light will stay on for 5-8 seconds before turning off. The light is only active in low light conditions (night, late dusk). Installation is very simple and the unit works flawlessly. A definite worthwhile purchase. Highly recommended.

Works great so far.

Bought for an elderly relative with vision impairments and it works well. When mounted above the lock, the light didn’t illuminate the lock because it didn’t come out far enough. Our workaround was to mount it to the door jam and it worked well!
