So with my Nikon, I burn through one battery rather quickly, especially in the winter. So I wanted to get a secondary battery for obvious reasons, and this battery was the perfect pick. Luckily, it wasn't a scam like what I was halfway thinking it would be, so that was a relief, and I am very thankful for that. As such, I can do videos longer and take more photos while out and about now, and not have to worry about the one battery dying. I'm in fact going to get a couple more of these just so I can have four batteries, as such. That should be more than enough even during the wintertime. They are really good, long-lasting batteries, and they perfectly work with my camera. I highly recommend.

Ok it works as designed

I have had this for about 5 months, going strong. I do not use a lot, but good so far.

I bought this for my Nikon D5100. Delivery was quick as promised, box was in one piece. Charging time was fast (it doesn’t come with a charger), and it is easy putting the battery where it belongs. Getting it out was a challenge. It somehow is a snuck fit so I needed a little tool to help it out. This is a spare battery so I don’t mind the challenge of getting it out. I’m not going to complain seeing it wasn’t too expensive. It held a good charge.

I don't know if I just got a defective battery but man... this thing will not charge or hold a charge. I have had it on the charger for hours and hours and the charger light never turns solid. When I put it in my camera I can get maybe 5-10 pictures before my camera shuts off because of low battery... even if it's right off the charger. I'm using a Nikon charger which charges my other Nikon brand batteries just fine. Again, might have just gotten a bad one but my experience over several months has been that this battery will not charge. If you need something reliable, I'd pass on this one.

Works just perfect

I was skeptical about purchasing these at first since they were not a Nikon brand. However, after purchasing one, I immediatly followed up with another. So far they are working perfectly for me and cost far less than a Nikon battery.

There are not the cheapest batteries for your Nikon out there buy they appear to be quite good. I have a couple of Nikons and I use the four I bought interchangeably, and they are excellent. I would buy again if I had the need (Which thankfully, I do not!)... .
