Natural Gas Production Engineering

This is by far the most well written petroleum literature that I've ever laid hands on. I honestly can't put it down. It's so easy and fluid to read, it's a lot like reading a real book and not just a dense instruction manual. I can't wait for some opportunity later on in my life to meet Mr. Kelkar in person and get my copy signed!

There are far better production engineering text out there, many of the examples just are clear and derivations often skip over important assumptions. Part of the reason I don't like this book was because the instructor used this book but frequently used modified/greatly modified the equations or approach to problem solving. …….Overall so many things just aren't explained very well. Very meh textbook.My personal litmus of 5/5 star text is: do refer to the book relatively frequently after the end of the course it pertains to? Poor reference source for basic equations.
