parts store tells me there are two different belts for same 2003 Durango...one for a 76 mm idler and one for a 90mm idler

Check with a auto parts store for possibility of different sizes as per idle wheel. Gates makes a setup with a new idler wheel and spring tensioner if you want to go first class.

According to Rock Auto's website, which I have found to be pretty trustworthy, it will work with a 1997-2000 Explorer. I don't know what engine spec that is for as they don't specify.
