For countless number of years I have always used Vaseline as a moisturizer for my lips. I live in Arizona and with dry air it's hard finding a product that doesn't absorb away quickly without putting a lot on. I don't wear lipstick. Regular lip balms are okay but I honestly can't stand the fragrance put in most of them. Waxelene is very smooth and soothing and makes my lips feel soft for a long time. It even gives them a satin sheen unlike the obvious glossy shine from Vaseline. The combination of soybean oil, beeswax, vitamin E oil, and rosemary oil creates a natural mellow fragrance and it doesn't bother me at all. I highly recommend Waxelene. If you're concerned about the price, don't be, because a 2 oz. jar will last a long time. Update - October 21, 2012 - I previously wrote about this 2 oz. jar lasting a long time. I'm pleased to say 6 months after my purchase my jar is only half gone. I use Waxelene two to three times a day to moisturize my lips. It doesn't absorb away like other products do and I no longer carry a tube of other moisturizer with me when I am away from home for the day. My lips stay soft without any additional help. It's great! Second Update - May 13, 2013 - I just used the last of this jar today. So, that's been about 1 year ago I started using it. Pretty wonderful, high quality value for $8.99! Granted, I only use it in the morning and at night and really you don't need very much at all to moisturize your lips. I'm ordering more today.

The best but no longer delivers to my location, in the glass jar option which I love!! Multi use. I use it as a diaper balm and its chefs kiss. Please change delivery preferences back!!!!

Can you imagine that almost everything in our world is made with some oil?!! That's just darn crazy! But this Waxelene purchase is one of the exceptions, and a way to reduce our oil dependence. 'Waxelene' feels like vaseline w/o the consequences. And you don't have to pay upwards of $125+ a barrel either. In fact, the 2 oz jar is enough -- at least for the first purchase. Also because this ALL-NATURAL goo has a 1-year expiration date on it, the smaller (but not too small) 2 oz. jar might suffice as compared to the larger 9 oz. jar. It seems UNnatural for a jar of processed stuff to have an expiration date on it since we're so used to using, and eating, stuff that's made of chemicals. But not Waxelene. And by the way, there's nothing better than a company or merchant that's honest about printing an expiration date and not trying to sell old stuff! The age of trust is upon us. Some practical data: Don't buy extra 'gift' jars too soon because they might expire -- then again, you don't want to forget about this little unique gem of a gift either - just an idea, but you could add it to your Amazon WishList as a reminder. There's a multitude of uses for this stuff: chapped lips, hands, and 'monkey butt' (a joke for bicyclists), etc. Anything you use Vaseline for, well, this is an organic alternative for everything. And it's good for Mother Earth. FYI: Mother's Day in right around the corner, in mid-May. (A jar of Waxelene would be perfect. Just make sure the main gift has a bit of sparkle and comes with a big warm HUG, and you'll be in good standing for the HUSH HUSH 'favorite kid' award once again.)

Was sceptical however this product is really great! It is thick kind of like Vaseline. Definitely helps with dry skin. I have rosacea and helps when it is inflamed by diminishing the dry skin.
