Q: Has anyone else had issues with not receiving the 2" down alternative mattress pad that goes over the topper?

I just received this topper yesterday 9-1-2020 and it did not have the mattress pad with it. It is still a problem. I posted my problem on Amazon and it was sent to Sleep Innovations. They were very nice and are sending me the cover which I should get next week. I didn't get any product information in the box which was falling apart.

Q: pee didn't come out and the smell is horrible after cleaning ripped in some places would the warranty cover replacement ?

A dust mite/bed bug proof matress encasement is the 2nd best investment you'll ever make for not only your mattresses, but your entire house. Urine or spills dont go through them just as bed bugs or allergens can't. Will keep your matress & matress topper brand new forver literally. I am very poor but the 1 thing I wont skimp on is #1: Avoidance of pain. The most primal instinct in all living beings is the avoidance of pain. With humans it means also not risking addictions to narcotics, alcohol... an entire plethora of problems & life destroying antics. Start with where you spend 1/3rd to 1/2 of your life: BED. A a Good mattress. THIS matress topper. And a quality encasement. These 3 simple things improve life more than words could ever say.

Q: How soft is this topper. do you sink into it. Or is there firmness to it?

I've been sleeping on it for 2 months or so and it's still very comfortable! I don't think you sink into it but it's very soft and cozy, not necessarily firm. Mine has stayed in take and my great dane sleeps on it all day and he is over 200 pounds

Q: Can anyone tell me if they've used this for post op microdiscectomy surgery and if its comfortable on the low back and hips? The density lb value?2 pc

I had 5 level microsurgery on my C Spine 10 years ago. I now have low back pain with sciatica on the left. I have a Select Number bed with a pillow top. My low back and hips had too much pressure on the mattress causing poor sleep, constant changing position and pain. Since I put this on my bed, all of that is better, I sleep well. My mattress is firm but the mattress topper relieves pressure points. I love it. I don't know the density answer, but the 4 inches added makes a huge difference.
