I read a lot of the reviews before buying this product as it had the least amount of "this looks like crap in my hair" comments. Not having it look natural would be my biggest concern - especially since my hair is more auburn and was even unsure if the color of "medium brown" would work. But it worked PERFECTLY for me, however these are the following reasons I think this product worked great for my hair: 1.) I have THINNING hair. The spots I needed to touch up still have hair present for the fibers to attach to, not a lot, but still some. 2.) I have short hair. Although I did see pics of people with longer hair and it looked good, the difference is if you don't have hair there, there seems to be an indentation when seen close up (which is accentuated if you have longer hair in other spots), although from afar it appears you have a full head of hair. 3.) I have course hair. I feel maybe the fibers won't blend in if you have very fine hair but my natural course hair helped the course fibers blend better. The company even emailed me with tips on how to style my hair. As long as your hair is dry, sprinkle it on the spots you need, BUT DON'T FORGET to pat it in to blend it. I feel maybe some people were just sprinkling it on and not blending it in - and that's why they stated it looked like dust on their head. I am able to use this after gelling my hair or using other styling products and it still looks great. Also I could sweat in it. I've been outside in the recent summer heat and even worked out with it in. I had a small fear it would run like mascara if it got wet or sweaty, but it didn't. Only when I ran my head under water in the shower did I notice the color coming out, and it came out very easy with the addition of a little shampoo. As long as you wash it out you have no fear of it getting on your pillow. I heard that it shouldn't get on clothes and I didn't notice it when taking off or putting on my shirt. Lastly, for those that knew me they immediately knew I had done something with my hair but couldn't tell what. They couldn't tell I had a powder in my hair but they gave me ample compliments. It feels great to have the appearance of more hair in such an instant. For as long as I have some hair for this product to grasp on to, I will have this product in my vanity.

I bought this specifically for my mother. She is in her 70's and has thinning hair in the back of her head. She is one of those women that does not do her won hair;has a steady appt at the beauty parlor once a week for a wash and blow dry. When she has come to visit me I have noticed her sprinkling a product similar to this on her hair. I could not believe the coverage and the difference. I sent her this product and she LOVES it. She brought it to the salon; her hairdresser said this was a very good product, initially applying this for her. She loves the coverage; the dark brown blends in with her hair color. She is glad to have one for home and this for travel. She is going to be able to keep this small shaker jar in her purse for touch ups when she needs it. This is an ingenious product for women with thinning hair, or small bald spots. Simply shake this to the bare area; the powder sticks to the scalp and surrounding follicles and creates the illusion of a fuller, thicker head of hair. I was given the opportunity to test and try this product. I was so glad I was able to supply my mother with this. She is 100% satisfied, and I am glad I found a way to provide her with something she needs via mail service. **Update*** 9/16/15 - just purchased two more to send to my mom at FULL PRICE. She loves this product..and she has used many of them "This is the best" she tells me. Highly recommend.

I was admittedly skeptical about trying this product, but the before and after pictures of hair fiber usage were pretty impressive. In hindsight, they were too impressive. I guess you could say that I have severe balding, although I do still have some hair covering my crown. People often take note of this and will kindly tell me that I'm not bald, since I'm really not; at least completely. I figured I was probably right on the line for whether this product would work, because they warn that "CUVVA is NOT for those who have extensive Hair Loss i.e. Bald or Bald Spots". However, some of the before and after pictures with other hair fiber products show remarkable results for men who have less hair then I do, so I figured "Why not try?" The result was that I looked as if I'd sprinkled a dark powder on my head and it didn't look real at all. In fact, it looked ridiculous. The verdict is that CUVVA might be a decent option for those who have very minimal hair loss. It is amazing how well it stays on your head, even though it doesn't all stay on and it is messy. I'll also mention that I suspect other hair fiber products are similar and I'm not critical of Cuvva, specifically. Update: I took the seller up on his !00% satisfaction guaranteed offer. After mailing the product back, I'm happy to report that he did, indeed, refund 100% of my money and without any hassle. So even though the product wasn't for me, I can still recommend it as safe for those who wish to give it a try.

I had been telling my husband about a thinning spot that he never chose to pay attention to it or take me seriously until he saw a picture where he was standing in the background and you could see it. He immediately had to find a mirror so he could try to get a look at it but was unable to so I took a picture for him. Needless to say he went into an immediate funk and I said, "okay now that you've seen it, let's work on it." I wanted to get something that would be a more immediate fix, albeit temporary, for a few events we had coming up and we're working on natural treatments to actually help with regrowth. He was very much against any sort of spray or powder or anything like this product but I had a gift card and saw the reviews so I figured that if I bought it and it was in the house, he would at least let me test it out on him. It came and I told him to prep as specified and the immediate result was amazing. My husband kept making me take pictures from different angles and was kept looking in the mirror in disbelief. You couldn't tell the difference between where it was and wasn't applied at all and the texture of it is almost the exact same as dry shampoo which also helps to add a bit of volume. He pulled a total 180 and agreed that it was a fantastic, temporary solution. He doesn't wear it every day since it's just a thinning spot and he doesn't want people at work to think he got something done, but for special occasions we make sure he's got it packed... at least until we find a more permanent fix.

Guys they changed the bottle AGAIN and this time the fibers just drop out in clumps and the color isn’t even correct. Total trash product now. Find something else.

I've tried many hair loss concealers, Toppik, Xfusion, Hairmax, Caboki and more. This product has a very natural color (unlike Toppik or Xfusion that has a blue/green tint). It does not stay in quite as well as Caboki, but is a less expensive alternative. I would recommend. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is there is a little more fall out than I'd like.

I'm a female who's always had thin hair, which is far more noticeable with dark brown hair. I'm in my early 40's, and it's gotten so thin that my scalp is visible through my hair all over the top half of my head. A couple years ago, I finally discovered hair fibers. These work perfectly for covering up all the sections of extremely thin hair. I originally tried Toppik and I recall having a bit of difficulty getting the fibers to actually stick to my hair, and their recommended hairspray didn't seem to help either. So, I decided to try Cuvva because it had good reviews, was similarly priced with the other hair fibers out there, yet Cuvva gives you twice the amount of fibers (twice the weight). I was so happily surprised, when my first order of Cuvva arrived, to find out that not only is this brand half the price of others (based on weight) but it's so easy to apply and stays in my hair well without needing any sort of hairspray to hold it there (ie Toppik). I don't know what I'd do without Cuvva at this point. I'm so grateful for this product. It saved my hair game and gave my self-confidence a boost!

I bought this to cover up some grey roots in between colour appointments but they seem to get everywhere and are not easy to apply.

I got this for my wife who's got some small patches of thinning going on at the top of her head. We gave this a try and it works like a charm. She was so thrilled that it covered the thinning area and it really didn't take much. It's a very fine fibrous powder and came out without any issues. For such a simple and inexpensive product it really made her feel so much better about her appearance. Good stuff!!
