The dress is beautiful. My daughter wore it for a holiday performance, and it looked lovely both in person and on TV. The green is VERY dark -- can look almost black in some photos -- but that wasn't a problem, just be aware. We also ordered the same dress in the blue as a possible option, but it was a bright blue, not a deep sapphire. It was still pretty, but the color was not as good with my daughter's coloring. (Blue would look better on a blond or on someone with deeper skin tone.) The dress is very easy to wear; it is a stretch velvet. Fabric is soft and comfy but substantial quality. We do recommend getting a strapless slip of some kind as you can't wear a regular bra. Also, the slip allows you to go without pantyhose -- everything is nice and smooth -- a nice benefit -- everyone hates wearing pantyhose! The dress is formfitting and stretchy, so you want to mitigate panty lines, etc. My daughter is 5' 6" and the dress had to be shortened by about an inch; she wore 2-inch heels. If you're wearing higher heels, you may not have to get it shortened. Overall, a great buy that arrived 2 days earlier than they said it would. I would definitely buy from this place again!

Lovely Navy Velvet Dress for Wedding in Madrid - When the bride said that the dress code required a full length gown for the wedding ceremony in the Basilica in Madrid that would also work for the reception at a 16th century castle - I didn’t imagine that I would find something so perfect and comfortable. The Navy blue velvet is body conscious and fits my curves but is also stretchy and thick enough to cover a multitude of sins. I love the slight “train effect” of this particular cut because it adapts well to wearing heels by providing a little extra fabric to skim the ground and the optical illusion of curves. Very Christmasy dress

This is a stunning gown! It's classy and elegant. The fabric is soft and the quality is excellent. I received so many compliments on it at my nephews wedding. I highly recommend it and would absolutely purchase from this company again!

It’s a nice dress and nicely sewn, but I wish that the sleeves were longer and the dress itself a little shorter. I feel myself wanting to pull the sleeves down (they look almost like a 3/4th sleeve when the fabric properly meets the armpit), which I feel pulls the dress down slightly, making it even longer at the bottom. The fit is just right everywhere but in the arms, which are tight on me, but to be fair, I have a lot of loose arm skin from a 100lb+ weight loss. Also, the dress is very long on me, and I am 5’8”. I recommend wearing heels 3 inches or higher with this dress so that the train will not trail and tatter on the ground. It’s not exactly what I hoped it would be, as is almost impossible to find the perfect fit with my excess skin, but I am still satisfied with it.

In March, I needed a decent prom dress kind of last minute, I thought I'd try this dress. I wanted a versatile, simple dress, that still looked pretty and elegant. Really liked the style of this one, but I was worried it wouldn't fit or look good on me. I'm a pretty chunky gal, so on the very off chance a dress like this would fit, people tend to think form fitting dresses don't "compliment" figures like mine (not that I really care about that sort of thing, I just wear what I want). I ordered a size 16, it came right on time, if not a few days early. The fabric was very soft and elastic, I was worried there was a chance it would be a little see through, but its opaque despite how thin and light the fabric is. I'm about 210 lbs and I'm 5'9, so I figured something would go wrong with the sizing, but I was pleasantly surprised. I even wore some pretty tall heels and the dress was still the perfect length. If anything, the only downside was how the sleeves are a liiiittle short, coming about an inch above my wrist when I wished they could've been a bit longer. Other than that, I absolutely love this dress. It fits really nicely against all odds, and I felt great wearing it! I wore it to prom as well as my final choir concert before my graduation ceremony. Didn't get super good pictures, but here's some poorly censored ones, with my best friend being the only uncensored person other than me 😂

My grandma always told me the cost of a dress isn’t important. She said you could put on a $5 dress and make it look like a million dollars. I agree, but this dresss looks much more expensive than it actually is. Size is perfect and velvet is thick. The material is a cheaper velvet, but I’m the only one who will know because you have to feel it to notice! It looks great. I’m 5’7”, 127 pounds. Hem hits the floor and will be perfect with heels. Shoulders have grip and stretch. Material is not thin, but it feels thinner than a more expensive velvet. (Other people can’t tell by looking.) It’s not uncomfortable, but I only just tried it on and didn’t buy it for comfort, anyway. I’m wearing it to our state governor’s inaugural ball. I didn’t vote for him, but I vote for the dress. Good purchase!

This dress is amazing! It is thicker so it smooths out any imperfections. The material feels of high quality and is really comfortable to wear. I’m 5’5”and with 3” heels, it is the perfect length. My measurements are 36/27/36 and I weigh 130lbs. the small fit perfect. It hugs in all the right places! 😍 the off the shoulder top is so classy looking and stays put without being too tight. I was going to pair it with a pearl belt but honestly, it needs nothing. It radiates pure elegance and beauty all on its own. I can’t wait to wear it for my cruise. Buy it!
