I had already tried 3 different comforters: IKEA down [too light, no warmth], Hotel heavier goose down [too heavy, had to stop using it due to excessive heat] and Siberian goose down medium fill [was ok, but noisy -crinkly- and still a heavy comforter]. I was open to ordering this comforter and have been totally delighted with what I received. This one lives up to its advertised features and is a lovely weight, color, fill and quiet article of bed linens. Very satisfied here. Thank you!!

Wife and I tried several comforters for South Florida summers (granted we keep it frigid in the house) and were looking for something super light weight that would keep us warm enough under the ceiling fan and A/C, but not have us sweating. This one does it, and still has some puffiness to it. The downside it, without a duvet cover (which we are not using - the gray works with our décor) it is incredibly loud. The fabric itself is more of the issue, rather than the fill. I personally do not like it when the sheet isn't between me and it either, but as a top layer in a warm climate, it is the best we have found. I'd have probably given it 4.5 stars if I could, but it isn't 5 stars for sure.

Given the positive reviews from other purchasers, I feel I must let you know that feathers were coming out various areas of the stitching upon removal from the packaging. It is lightweight, but doesn't seem evenly filled. It's not quiet as promised. It's slightly larger than the average king size comforter. The color is pretty and it is reasonably soft. However, I'm disappointed at the quality for what I feel is a large price tag and will be returning.
