My temperature gauge on my oven was broke and I had to keep guessing at it. Used the thermometer the other day, and it let me know what temp my oven was on. SeemsO to have worked out pretty good. I wish I had thought of this earlier, when I had baking to do for a baby shower. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars, is because I have only used it once so far...But for the price, it's great!!

This thermometer didn’t work. I purchased it because of the positive reviews. So, I am assuming the fact mine doesn’t work is an exception. Still, nonetheless, I can’t give more stars for something that I can’t use. It has been in the package on the shelf, so I wasn’t aware that it did work. I ended up using my old candy thermometer which is has a crack. I will have to buy another brand.

I use this for a very large garden wok. I needed to secure a couple of weights to the pointed end to keep it stable in the wok but that's down to my type of use. The item itself works well.

Wasn't too sure which Themometer to buy...... Do I go with the more expensive Brass one or this? Opted for this less expensive one, and it's great. Have used it three times now twice for Toffee and once for Turkish Delight. Easy to use, Stands up in the saucepan and easy to wash!

We live offgrid and our oven doesn’t have temp gage so this was a good purchase. The thermometer base didn’t fit well so I need to put it on a small pan then place in oven. Works well
