Online Shopping for Kitchen Small Appliances from a great selection of Coffee Machines, Blenders, Juicers, Ovens, Specialty Appliances, & more at everyday low prices Review: Overall happy with purchase! - First off, I've never used a stand mixer before but I've found this one pretty easy to use. It's pretty basic with one large knob for the different power levels and a nice sized button to push in to raise or lower the mixer. Although the attachments are easy to put on/take off, I had a bit of a time getting the plastic cover to stay on at first but it turned out, I was the problem and not it. The only complaint I have ,and like I said, I'm new at this is that it's a bit awkward to scrape the sides of the bowl with a spatchula with the mixer in the down position and the recommended flour max is two cups(which, again is my fault for not realizing the capacity of the bowl at purchase). Temper expectations, good mixer
Dont go in expecting a KitchenAid, this is a lightweight, light duty mixer but for light duty bakes like cookies and cakes it's a great unit. I would definitely not try to mix heavy doughs or meat not only with the lower power of the unit but the cheaper hook and beaters.
