I checked with the RAC website for the "right" battery to get and this was it (but they wanted about double the price), but when I installed it it is slightly taller so the battery cover doesn't fit properly. I'm not bothered about that, but some people may be. Came with some charge - enough to start the car, but I've charged it fully and it seems fine.

Bought this battery to replace the dying one in my DS automobiles DS5. I was having loads of weird ignition lights before the car would start and the eco mode had stopped working ie the stop/start function when not moving had packed in. ALSO I noted that the car hadn't alerted me about adding Urea for ages... Not good at all, I checked it and ended up putting in almost 15 litres, which must mean it should have been alerting. Replacing the battery isn't too bad. A bit of patience is required. I had to remove the top of the air filter and the electrical connector so I could push it to one side. Remove the live terminal and unbolt it from the front of the battery housing. Unclip the electrical connection and push to one side, remove the top cover and unclip the multitude of connections on the top of the battery and push to one side. Unfasten the negative connection at the back of the battery. Remove the battery cover by tilting forward and pulling out. ( This takes a bit of jiggling too and fro but it does come out). Unfasten the little plate, down to the bottom left of the battery and save to one side. Lift out the old battery and replace with the new in reverse. NOTE Once the battery is in place leave for approx 15 to 20 mins for the CPU to reset itself and then Press start and stop several times without starting the engine, this should clear any fault codes that have been stored in the cars memory. Now start the car properly and all errors should be gone. Remember you will have to reset the time and date on the touch screen. The new battery is excellent, was delivered very quickly and packaged well. My car feels like brand new now.
