Waterman Fountain Pen Ink Cartridges, Short 'International', Serenity Blue, 6 Count

Waterman makes class pens and their ink is no different. These are international standard short cartridges, so they are going g to fit many pens out there unless you have one that takes a non-standard cartridge. The ink is a beautiful blue, flows well, and doesn't coagulation at the nib. I use both cartridge and bottle ink, and if I'm using a cartridge, I'm most likely using Waterman. Definite buy.

I bought these Waterman cartridges for an old Waterman Phileas fountain pen I found while cleaning out some old bins. I initially cleaned the pen and tried using some international short cartridges. Some googling indicated that those should work. But the Phileas seems to have something in the barrel that prevented those from fitting properly. These Waterman branded ones fit perfect and the pen writes very well. The blue is more or less similar to other blues by all the major pen manufacturers. It isn't better or worse but it's nice for personal or business use.

I ordered these cartridges for my Scriveiner fountain pen which uses international standard cartridges. They fit well in the pen. The ink is bold and dries fast. Serenity Blue is a bold, dark blue which looks fantastic. I would highly recommend.

Just the color of blue I wanted. Bold and rich, and looks great on paper. Highly Recommend, if you like a pleasant blue.

I don’t even want to write this review. I should have just bit the end of a pen off sprinkled blue ink all over the place it would have done the same thing.

Love this ink and it's way cheaper here than staples

I would give this 4.5 stars if it were possible. The quality of the ink is great, and it flows well on paper. It dries pretty fast and has a nice color. Just be aware that these are tiny cartridges, about 2 cm each which is about 3X smaller than the cartridge my Waterman Hemisphere fountain pen came with. I would go for a converter next time, or larger carts but if you just want to experiment with different colors, brands or types of ink, I would say this is the best way to go. Waterman is known for wetter inks that have great ink flow. If your looking for a faster drying ink, go with Mont Blanc. No regrets though because the ink quality is great and the price is good.
