Great for dogs that like to chew
Dog cannot chew this up. We have the big orange ballistic ball too. We have had it for over 2 years and my massive dog cannot chew it up!! I have a full blooded Spanish mastiff (180lbs) & a 140 lb weimaraner/Rottweiler/ lab mix. Incredibly strong dogs

Add some fun back to your target practice.
This thing is a great target and addition to your shooting practice. It jumps around and rolls around when hit so it's a changing target, not just the same spot on a piece of paper. If it's on a slight hill, it will get knocked up hill and roll back down. And of course it jumps round when hit on flat ground. I've shot mine many times with a .380 auto, 9 mm, 38 special, .357 mag and a 45 auto. There are a few lead marks on it but it still looks pretty much like it did when I got it. The holes really do seal up after being hit, even with a .45 caliber. It's not large. The really center part is something like 3 inches. For most shooters, 10 to 15 yards is an appropriate shooting distance for this target. I have noticed it the ground is wet (sticky mud here near the Texas coast) the points do tend to get stuck in the mud when knocked up in the air and falling back down. For those conditions a round one would probably be better. This one is great when the ground surface is reasonably dry. If I remember correctly it is made in China but so is everything else.

An easy and re-usable dynamic shooting target
Fantastic dynamic shooting target for both hand guns and AR-15 guns. I have taken this out to the range 5 times so far and have put ~50 rounds of .40 and ~300 rounds of 5.56. It has held up incredibly well, especially with the 5.56/.223 ammo. The self healing/absorbing feature works very well and plugs most holes. I have a few .40 round lodged in it, but nothing that detracts or lessens its use I imagine I'll have these targets for a couple years before they start to really deteriorate.

Not what I ordered
I ordered the heavy duty ball for a replacement product and was sent the dancing star. While the star is fun to shoot, it is not heavy duty enough for anything beyond .22 LR. The ball on the other hand has lasted for years with extreme abuse from M1 Garand and 12 gauge buckshot. This dancing star wouldn’t last a day with such abuse.

Fun to shoot
Would be higher rating but after less then 50 45.acp rounds put through it and 2 are stuck inside so I doubt it will last alot of rounds? Idk first ground target ive owned..was excited for the ease if use

Fun Practice Target
This target works great! I like the star shape and the size. It took a lot of shots from a .22 LR, an AR-15 (.223), 30-06, 9mm pistols, and 40 cal pistols. I gave it a 4 only because it would be better to be a different color, maybe flourescent yellow or orange, especially in the summer when the grass is greener.

this ball is a good size. I wanted something that I could shoot ...
this ball is a good size. I wanted something that I could shoot at a distance and get positive feedback. I was using both a 20GA and 12GA with 1 to 1-1/8 oz from 6 to 8 shot. The feedback was great; I missed my first 3 shots with my new shotgun but after that I was right on target. Imagine how long that would have taken me to get right in the field! I wish I would have bought this last year. I also bought two orange tophats and they worked great too, but the ball was slightly more fun. I was shooting from about 15-30 yards and the ball didn't roll to far, just enough to know that I hit it.
