Muhammad: Man and Prophet

I have yet to finish this book, but so far it is super eloquent while still being easy to read. Its narration is perfection and well organized. From what I can tell, it is accurate. It gets you hooked and I can’t stop turning the pages. Must read bio!

This book is simply wonderful. It is so easy to read, even my 8 year old has picked it up. I have been looking for a good book on Muhammad's (pbuh) life for a long time. This book starts with Abraham (pbuh) and provides a good foundation for the setting. It is so well written, with a very good flow. It can be read aloud to a loved one, or enjoyed by oneself. It has clarity and keeps the reader engaged thoroughly. It is difficult to put it down after starting. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to know more about Muhammad (pbuh). This book would be a perfect gift for a young teenager or young adult. It could change someone's life for the better.

It is a rather large book in a paperback format. It was difficult to carry around and I kept losing interest when I would start reading. Then I bought a kindle version as I started reading on my iPad. The best decision ever. I started reading from the middle of the book where I found it more interesting. I couldn’t keep it down until I finished the book. I went back and finished the early chapters. At the end I felt like I wish it had more content. I felt very close to the prophet knowing more about him by reading this book. I highly recommend everyone to read this book. I like to read but am not an avid or fast reader. However now I am encouraged to read more books like this. I just started reading the second book from the author: Muhammad his Character and Conduct.

Exactly what I needed to read in this point if my life. It was recommended by Suhaib Webb and I'm so grateful to Allah I took his advice. It's the life if our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); a detailed biography of the man we all (Muslims and non-Muslims ) can benefit from. May Allah grant us to be among the Prophets followers. Ameen

Anyone who wants to read about the beautiful life of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) should buy this book. The writing is beautiful and fluid and easy to read. I had it in paperback, but it is a very big book. I bought the kindle edition and love it. SO much easier to carry my kindle around than the large print copy. I've cried and laughed and have so much more love for the Prophet (SAW) now Alhamdulillah. This book was recommended to me by several scholars and Imams.

Loved the way that this was written. Easy to read and follow. There is a free audio series online that I used to listen to before or after each chapter that I read. It really helped enhance my grasp of the content and details.

This book is exactly what I have been looking for for years!! It's the story of the last prophet, in very simple language.

Very crisp and clear insights into the life of Muhammad (SAW). This book will remove all the misconceptions and misunderatandings about the beloved Prophet. A must read.

This biography of prophet Muhammad has been well written in very detailed and it is worth having it for knowledge about pre Islamic history .

Through your writing, you are allowing millions of people to get to know our religion and inviting us to be amazed by it. To all readers: please be aware of incorrectly written and propagandistic portrayals presented as biographies of the Prophet. One example is “The First Muslim” written by Lesley Hazleton, a secular Person who lived in Israel. Always study the background and perspective of authors before trusting such works.

I love this book, as a revert to Islam I've struggled with finding a good book on the life of the Prophet. This book reads as a linear story, as opposed the common Eastern practice of historical documentation whereby all sources are confirmed from accounts, as in the hadith. The authors style is really easy to read and it engages the reader. I found it presented me with challenges, moral and ethical codes which are ingrained in my western mindset. The author really puts you in the mindset of the 7th Century Arab and understanding the revelations revelled started to make more sense to me. It really helped me form a linear picture of events surrounding the time of revelation and the meanings and outcomes. In places it makes Game of Thrones seem tame. Its an exhilarating read and I highly recommend it.

There's a few inaccuracies here and there, but overall it is excellent. Very detailed. I would recommend this to Muslims moreso than non-Muslims.
