They are waterproof within the obvious limitations of being designed as a clog that can be slipped on and off. And that's really the beauty of these - the ease of slipping on and of for wearing outside. They are comfortable. These are not work shoes in the sense of offering strong protection against an impact, that's a different kind of outdoor shoe altogether. But these shoes have proved be very durable, indeed surprisingly so since they have had some rough treatment out in the garden on all sorts of surfaces and situations and weather. I would go so far as to say that I have become attached to them - if one of other of them had a serious misfortune I wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair. Best and most useful garden shoes I have owned.

I bought these shoes because I find I am often popping into the garden to pick it trash out, manage the washing on the line, pick up firewood etc. When it’s cold and wet it’s a pain to put on proper outdoor shoes so I get these easy to slip on waterproof shoes. They are comfortable and lightweight and fit the requirement very well. Not sure if they would cope with heavy work in the garden but that’s not what I need. Highly recommend.
