Meinl Percussion RS1BK-L Large Bamboo Rainstick, Black

It arrived well packed and received with no damage. What I was surprised with is that this instrument appears to have hand painted designs and logo. For this price point, the time and effort to hand paint each stick says something about the people making these instruments. The sound is amazing and sounds just like rain. My wife and I are very happy with our purchase sacs highly recommend this instrument

Extremely great value for the money! I was pleasantly surprised at the size. The sound delightful! After reading negative comments from many I was rather nervous. Did have to file down two nail points that could have been dangerous, but other than that it is divine!!! Will look at reinforcing some of the parts that others have said fall apart easily. I have quite a bit from Meinel so I felt good about ordering this and am very happy with my purchase! A month after this review i could already see the wood splitting and I hardly used it as I wanted to reinforce it. I love all my Meinel products so this is sad I can't use it. 😢

Once again Meinl kills it in the percussion industry. Imitators will charge 1/3 the price and deliver exactly what you paid for. The craftsmanship and look of this instrument is beautiful. The sound is perfect. Hard to describe but if you have heard a crappy rain stick then this one is on the complete opposite end of the spectrum. Very please with my purchase.

I have wanted a large rain stick ever since I can remember. I have a smaller one about the size of a ruler maybe a little bigger but it is just to fast. When I found this one online, I fell in love with the colors, the carvings and the length of it. The first thing I did when I unwrapped it, of course, was play it. I turned it upside down real slow and just listened to the rain. It was simply amazing. I love it. I use it everyday just to relax me especially if I am having a bad day. Thanks for making an awesome Rain Stick with an awesome trickle effect and it is gorgeous on top of it. What more could I ask for. Thanks again. Sandy

This product is attractive and sounds beautiful! I only gave 4 stars because it seems to not be gradual enough or not filled enough to keep the music playing long enough for the large size. But I still love it.

I love it. I use it to record and sleep. I also like to take it to the beach and record the sound with the waves. Great value, it's long but easy to tuck away. It's very calming. I don't have small children but I'm sure they'll love it too

I was initially skeptical with some of the bad reviews for this, but my item arrived in great condition. No nails or sticks pointing out and no splits in the wood or anything. Additionally, when used properly and patiently, I could get this rainstick to produce a moderate amount of rainfall sound for about a minute and a half. This is far better than most rain sticks out there that only last 20 to 30 seconds. I couldn't be happier, especially at the amazing price that this is, where other items would cost upwards of $100 more.

Everyone loves this instrument. Even the designs on it look authentic.

So happy with my purchase

Absolutely beautiful item. I can’t believe I only paid £20!!! I love the sound and quality

Es fantástico. Suena increible. Muy acertada la decoración del producto. Muy satisfecha con la compra.
