This product is non-sterile--risky to use on open sore
I ordered this for my sibling's pressure sore. I was about to apply it when I noticed (in small print) on the front of the tube it says "NON-STERILE". The seller does not hide this; you can see it if you zoom in on the product picture. ...UPDATE ON INITIAL NON-STERILE REVIEW: Just learned that wound care products don't have to be "sterile". Seems to be a nice gel.

Item subbed
I have stasis dermatitis on my calf and after clearing most of it up with other creams that was considerably more expensive I decided to try this dressing. I ordered the 3oz tube so it would be easy for me to use. After having to contact the company when item was not received they sent another package out. Image my surprise when I opened the box and here are two 1 ounce accordion tubes of the hydrogel. So not only am I shorted 1 ounce of the gel I now have to dispense the gel from an accordion container, which does not squeeze as easy as a tube. I could not wait for another order so I have been using the gel which so far seems to help with the sores. If I need more ointment after I finish with this gel I will go back to my original item used, while more expensive I get exactly what I ordered.

Helps keep wound from being too dry
McKesson makes the best wound care products and this hydrogel just adds to the list of their great products. This helps the product the wound care center put on my wound not be as painful when it dries.

The toe must not go!
I liked the results, case in poiMcKesson! had 2 toe injuries in the past 6 months. The first injury was a result of a bad swim, the second from having my foot ran over. I used neosporin with the first and hydragel with the second injury. My toe is healing slowly but extremely well, I am not as happy with the neosporin toe since it was amputated. Yes. I am a type II diabetic with a 6.1 AIC the last time I was tested. Neosporin was my go to until the toe had to go, I recommend Mckesson! I wanted to submit photographic evidence, however, my wife had strenuous objections
