Thin, but seems to be made well, the cat's review.......keeps me warm, my favorite place to snuggle up on. Washes ok so far only had had one wash but all is fine, it is used on the cat house outside fits well in the and doesn't slip around.

Bought this for my elderly cat before she passed away. She absolutely loved it and towards the end wouldn't come off it. It really helped to keep her warm on colder nights and as she began to experience health issues where she couldn't regulate her body temperature well herself. Really easy to clean but I would recommend taking the insert out first. We have a "kitten" now (he's not quite a year old but bigger than our 5 year old cat) and he loves this now. He sleeps on it all the time.

Took a little while for my cat to love this mat but once she did she’s not left it and seems to enjoy the comfort and sleeps well on it and just about enough space to stretch out for a small cat

Looks much flimsier than the photos. Basically a thin foil sheet inside a slightly fluffy one-sided pillow case. One of our two cats has been known to lie on one but not for any length of time. They much prefer the sofa, the top of our combi boiler, the wash basket, under a coffee table, on top of a radiator, the garden shed, and anywhere else they can find.

No insulation for roof, pvc door flaps barely fit

Found an adult feral cat living behind our bins, he was very afraid, but clearly needed food and shelter, so operation befriend the feral started, he wouldn't under any circumstances enter anything with a door as he was afraid of being trapped, so a small kennel had the door removed, we insulated it and put in a box with this blanket, we put some tuna in, he went in and I promise once he was standing on the mat a while he realised it was warm, he curled up on it and never left it for the night, after a few weeks of good food and warmth he is now very much our pet and this self heating mat was when he started to trust us, it is big enough for a large cat, it is warm, Henry is toasty warm when I pick him up, it is soft and very comfortable. I would recommend this to anyone. Henry is nearly an indoor cat but does choose to nap on this blanket in his insulated kennel which now has a door and a window! He loves his mat. 11/10.

I bought this mat to put in an outdoor new house for a feral cat who took refuge in the garden. I am glad that Roxy is not exposed to the harsh weather.
