It worked straight away. Review: Good Adapter - I purchased this adapter to install a 22mm x 80mm NVMME drive. There are limited instructions to installing the drives on the adapter so be sure you know what you are doing before hand. Tiny screws for securing the drive are included in the slot cover package with the tiniest screw driver I have ever seen! Its only about an inch long so you might want to have another to use. The device has pre-installed stand offs for 22x80mm drives however, the slot cover package includes stand offs to install shorter drives. Installation of the adapter was quick and easy. Works Great! (1 NVME, 1 SATA) I needed it to test drives I was troubleshooting. I did find that under a full load, the sata drive drops connection, but that might be due to my old hardware I use not supplying enough power to it.
