Good on callused and cracked hands and feet. Quickly removes dead skin. Doesn't remove healthy skin. Two sides with different grit. Super fast for trimming and shaping nails too. Way more durable than an emory board. Only downside is the edge has a rounded bead so it is a little harder to get into skin crevaces or under very edges of fingernails.

These files are exactly as advertised and work very well. I build up dead skin on both my hands and feet from martial arts so I needed something durable that I could use once a week in the shower or immediately after. Using the rougher side gets all the major stuff and switching to the fine side of the file gets any minute traces so that my skin is smooth again.

I spent more than 30 minutes trying to remove one side of the plastic film that covers the file faces. I finally gave up and returned them. The film this company is using definitely needs to be replaced. It was as if the film had been melted on. I'm sure these would be excellent had I been able to use them.

The files dull out quickly, but other than that they fulfill their purpose.

I have typical working man hands. Needed something that could file out my dried up cracking skin callus. There are two different sides with different pattern for different needs. Both are pretty fine in terms of how coarse they are. One is a bit finer than they other side for your convenience, which is just fine for me, since I didn't need something super rugged.

I bought this for use on dry skin areas of my fingers. It's hardly abrasive at all and actually feels smooth. It doesn't remove anything...! Additionally, the instructions that come with it say it's for nails and feet only. That contradicts the advertising on the page that says it can be used for hands. No thanks... I'll look elsewhere.
