silly question, how do you change the bulb. am i missing clips somewhere or do you have to take it out the ceiling and take out at the back

You can change the bulb without taking it out the ceiling. The small inner aluminium or chrome ring that holds the bulb in just clips out allowing the bulb to drop out.

Is it possible to replace an existing single spotlight with the double?

Yes, as long as you’ve room to cut out the larger inlet

Just insert GU10 Dimmable bulbs instead of normal.
