It is stainless also and is polished as much as any stainless cook ware. The inside won't be polishes to the extent the outside is however.

Does Amazon sell the spare silicone gaskets for the 10 quart ZPot?

I would not purchase this pot. I bought TWO and neither worked. I thought it was just one that was defective. The seller refused to accept my returns.
