Thermajane Womens Thermal Underwear

I originally bought these to take to Ireland with me, because Ireland is always cold and damp. Sadly, we never made it there. Now we are having the coldest winter in the Northeastern United States, and I (finally) took them out of the drawer. Please know that these are so warm and comfortable. The insides are nice and soft up against my skin, while the outside is smooth and slick. This lets you move around without any material binding or bunching. The material stretches with me and does not pull. It feels like a second skin. There are seams in the usual places, but they do not interfere with movement. I am 5'3" and 150 lbs. I ordered the extra-large and it fits me perfectly. I purchased the gray color, but it's nice to see they offer such a great selection of colors. I would definitely buy again. Thank you.

I am relatively a hot (temperature wise) person. I absolutely hate long sleeve shirts and I'll walk around with a tank top under a cardigan all winter. I've NEVER owned a pair of long John's in my entire 44 years of life. But last week I started experiencing cold biting through the arms of my cardigan INSTEAD of having to remove it because I'm sweating. I started getting so cold I couldn't get warm enough to fall asleep. After layering some pajama bottoms under my VS leggings and feeling that they were so tight like I was going to puke every time I sat down, I decided to get an Amazon and find myself my first pair of long underwear. My hopes and expectations were low. I searched and read, searched and read and searched some more. Everything I've ordered lately, I've had to send back and replace with a smaller size. I am super picky about my regular clothing and feel like every pair of jeans or leggings never fit in between my legs right. I'm constantly pulling up at my waistline so I don't look like a toddler with a full diaper. But I HATE that feeling when your clothes restrict your movement, or move down EVERY time you do ANYTHING. I didn't know what to expect, and after putting multiple items in my cart and taking them out I ended up with this set in a smaller size than Amazon recommended in the color navy. Did I prefer a lighter color to wear under lighter clothes? Sure, but navy was the only option that could be at my door, literally later that day. I was done with being cold. I was prepared to be disappointed.... not to mention I would STILL be cold so my hopes were down.I don't know who designed these for women, but I am your number 1 super fan. I've never put something more comfortable on my body in my entire life! They are form fitting without being even the slightest bit tight. The bottoms feel like a regular pair of leggings... except somehow LIGHTER and there was little to no extra fabric, yet somehow just enough to cover all the space in between the top of my socks to right at my belly button. The fabric, which seems to be the same in and out is SO SOFT it feels like my whole body is being hugged by the lightest and fluffiest cloud. The top, let me tell you, I think my biggest hatred of today's clothing is that EVERYTHING seems to be working it's way more towards a crop top. I was pleased to put the top on and have the bottom sit way well below my underwear. I can't express how happy I am to have gotten these on my first try. I literally haven't taken them off since I got them yesterday. Not only have they held there stretch... I am staying at a very nice and warm temperature. Definitely NOT cold... but even if I get a little hot this fabric doesn't hold the hot in. This is EXACTLY what I needed and was looking for. I would recommend these to any woman and they will be the only brand and kind of long John's ill recommend... like ever. Now I'm just not looking forward to having to wash them. I guarantee I'll be putting them right back on!

I was trying to hold back and wait until I actually wash them before I left a review because I saw some “after washing” reviews that concerned me, however, I am so impressed with these long Johns, that I had to share my first impression.They are silky soft, fitted but not tight and suffocating. I put my black slacks over them to see if I felt like it was too suffocating but they were super cozy. I will wear them on a plane to Berlin! The top was not restricting. It was tapered enough on the bottom half of the shirt, so that air does not enter but still not tight against the skin and left room for stomach area.The description or someone’s review said something about feeling just like silky skin on top of yours like another layer of skin and that’s exactly how it feels on me. No need for a picture because it fits exactly like the picture but with a different body dimensions.I ordered a Large. I am 5’1”, bust size is 38D or 36DD . My pants size is normally about a size 8. I find this to be the perfect fit for me. I normally have trouble finding a comfortable top but this did not suffocate me. I also have trouble with pants because I have a higher and round buttocks. Both top and bottom were very comfortable.Please keep in mind that I have not washed them yet. I don’t care because its initial impression was very positive on a picky person.

True to size (since I'm 5'3" I can usually squeeze into a medium by sheer will, but prefer to buy a large for a proper fit and this large fit me perfectly; for reference I'm a size 8-10/fluctuating). The top was longer than I expected based on the other reviews stating it was short. Mine tucks into the pants and then some, possibly because I ordered my actual size myself, rather than the size I can squeeze into. ;-) If you have extra weight on top, or have a larger bust, definitely consider going up a size. Super soft and extremely comfy, and they fit perfectly under my tight jeans. The trim detail at the neck and the fabric look cute peaking out from under my tops. Pretty warm in 40-ish degrees; and in 20-30 degrees with snow flurries, I felt warmer than not wearing them obviously, but was definitely feeling the chill and wind. Overall, I'm not sure how these keep the Minnesota ladies toasty warm, but they will do for milder winters like 20-50 (hey, 50 degrees is nuclear winter if you're nearer to the equator). I am from warmer climates myself and this is the coldest winter I've experienced in more than 25 years (just moved to Oregon), so I also feel colder than your average snow-treading Oregonian for sure. I personally think they feel great on the skin (so silky), but they aren't flattering enough to wear alone around other humans unless you have a pretty sweet, rockin' bod. Look away, look away! Overall, 4 stars and I would buy them in more colors.

This is my fourth ThermaJane set! After multiple washes, the material has held up well—no pilling, shrinking, or loss of softness so far. I wash on cold and dry (I’m a busy mom) and it still looks and feels new.If I had to note one small consideration, it’s that the fleece lining does make these warmer than lightweight thermals, so they’re best suited for genuinely cold weather rather than mild temps. For winter, though, that’s exactly what I want. I get cold easily so these are a perfect warm and lightweight layer.Overall, this is a well-made, comfortable, and practical thermal set that delivers on warmth without sacrificing comfort. I’d confidently recommend it to anyone looking for reliable cold-weather layers or a cozy winter pajama option. Check out the youth sizes for kids too!

Being an outdoorsy person in New England, long johns are important to me. I've always found most women's long johns to be lackluster in warmth, wicking ability, and general comfort. I didn't have high expectations from these but figured for the price, I'd give them a try as my go-to brands I've used in the past are now too highly priced for my budget. Boy was I surprised. I wore these for a week and then immediately went to buy more pairs. I didn't find them as warm as my heavy weights but at least equal to if not a little bit warmer than my mid weights from LL Bean. The outer material is soft and smooth, allowing reduced friction on my pants so I have better manueverability than other fleece long john brands I've tried. The fleece inner is very soft and comfortable. The shirts I've been wearing as pajamas on these cold nights and they're comfortable and warmer than some of my sweatshirts, but less bulky. I'll likely be buying more pairs. I found them to be true to the size chart, not necessarily true to size compared across other brands. I am 5' 5" and 160lbs and the XL fit perfectly.

These are really, really comfy.I marked them as being somewhat large. Now, the shirt fits about as expected, and for the most part the pants do as well.That being said my legs could be a foot longer at the pants would still cover me "toes to tits" as the saying goes. I have long legs and I've got wrinkles at the knees because there is so much length in the pants that I just don't know what to do with them. The section above the crotch also pulls up to what I would term old lady heights.The ankles of the pants are tight. Not uncomfortably, but definitely legging tight. You can wear these under your jeans without having to worry about the ankles riding up at all.The shirt is also tunic length and reaches to mid thigh on me. The sleeves are wonderfully long, and the neckline is pretty perfectly balanced between not leaving skin exposed to the cold and not strangling you.For all of that, I'm actually pleased with these. If I need to, I can always hem the extra length off the pants, or drop the waist line and take in the extra. But you can't add more fabric, so the extra length in every direction is more of a good thing than a bad.The set is soft, and fairly warm, but I don't know that I would call them proper thermals. I work in a fairly cold hospital. I bought these as a replacement for some cuddleduds thermals that have seen a lot of wear and are getting fairly thin. The cuddleduds are still warmer than these are, even after several years of use.I'll give them top marks though, as these are about to become my number one favorite pair of winter pajamas ever.For assistance in interpreting my comments about length, I'm 5'6" and about 150 lbs, with a short waist and fairly long legs and arms.

Update: have worn this twice in total and there’s a small hole in the crotch. Quality control is lacking, knocking down another star simply because of it. Does the job of keeping me warm, but come on. Paying almost $35 for a set of undergarments and already having issues with stitching is ridiculous.***Note that this arrived last night 12/28 and I put them on this morning 12/29 and there’s already hole in the top as mentioned with the picture… Don’t really like that for the price, as it has me questioning how long these will last. First impressions seemed great though. Would’ve given it 5 stars otherwise.Can be worn under clothes without show, they’re perfect for winter or even just having it place of pajamas or wearing warmer clothes.. you feel naked (big plus from me, I don’t like how clothes feel) with a layer of warmness on your skin and it feels sponge-like. Press down on the soft side of a sponge or even better: a Mr clean magic eraser (more accurate feeling) and imagine a thin layer of that on the inside of the clothing covering your whole body, that’s what I mean. Plus the warmth. Good stuff.I’m a thicker woman, short, ordered a Large and it fits like a glove. Will definitely be ordering more.
