The flywheel and magnetic resistance barely make enough noise to be heard. I would call this thing “whisper quiet”. **Q: How is distance measured? meters or miles?** A: Great question! The SF-RW5856 calculates distance in miles. **Q: Is this easy to assemble? Also, how are the resistance levels?** A: It’s easy to assimble, pictures were good and the parts are shrunk over cardboard with clear plastic and easily labeled.
