Early impressions good
I've only been running these for a day, but where I was previously getting 50% broadband speed over Wi-Fi as well as dropped connections, I'm now getting 100% and no drops.Set up was simple. Although the automatic pairing didn't work, I just had to press the button on the side of each adapter and they came to life. Easy-peasy.I really wasn't expecting these to work as well they do, but now I've seen them in action they're well worth the price. I should've got them a long time ago.

Tried to tie 4 units into a system and it does not work
I have tried around the house to attach 4 Devolo Magic 1 LAN High Performance Add-On Powerline Adapter into a network and they are just not working - they are continually fighting for supremacy with one another and the network is in permanent reboot mode.I chose these as they are just straight LAN adaptors with none of the wifi features.

Best I have ever used.
***THIS IS FOR THE MAGIC 2, NOT THE MAGIC 1. IT WON'T LET ME SELECT MAGIC 2***I live in a house that was built in the early 1900's and the wiring has been redone once, but it's still quite old. I have used a number of powerline network adaptors and they have always been troublesome. TP-Link is the one that worked the best, but would still disconnect every 30-45 minutes. When this happens, the mains for the remote unit had to be switched off and then back on again to get a connection. I have used just about every model of TP-Link with the same results and their fastest one was rated for 1300 mb/s but I never got a connection faster than 600.I took a chance and bought the Devolo Magic 2. In a word... BRILLIANT. It takes several minutes to connect and negotiate the connection the first time. First of all... speed. I consistently get a 1200 mb/s connection. Even with the dodgy old wiring in the house AND the the two adaptors being on different power circuits. Connection... It has been running for several days and has not once lost the connection due to the powerline link. Even when the internet went down, I could still log in to the router on the other side of the house. Unlike the other powerline adaptors, Devolo uses a chipset that is specially designed for powerline networking. Other brands use a Qualcomm chipset that was originally designed for ethernet, not power lines. If you want speed and reliability, get one of these. It costs more, but it works!

Very disappointed with advertising and technical support from devolo
Despite what it says on the devolo network help pages I was told by devolo technical support that the “ Magic” products do not work with their other devices.Nowhere on their advertising guff does it mention this unless I have read the attached page wrong my existing devices should work ( 1200+ dlan triple and 1200+ Wi-fi ac).
