Hero's Edge G-L06 Latex Rubber Foam Battle Axe Larp

I bought it as a prop for performances and it worked really well for them. It felt good to swing because there’s some heft in the ax head and it doesn’t drag in the air. Very happy with it.

I used these and even loaned them out to three different families with kids - and they came back in good condition. The cloth wrap on the handle moves around a bit but these things are pretty tough considering they were used by six different kids in three different settings over some weeks and all three axes still look new (aside from the handle cloth wrap).

I got this for my son so that he could have a costume at the next Renaissance Festival. He loves it... he loves it so much he runs around smacking everything, and anyone, he can... so in that aspect it's not so good. But it's been put through the paces at the hands of a child. Its been used to smack trees, concrete, walls, etc and shows now signs of damage or a loss of durability.

This is a great product. Looks realistic and is well made.

I love the axe, and recently used it for some LARP/Boffer fighting. It's head is firm enough to feel and not break, but soft enough that I hit people litterally half my size and they were fine. It's a great axe! Only issue is the handle. While the handle itself is covered in a protective foam, the grip tape at the bottom began to fall off fairly quickly. We played with it, sweated and messed around in a light drissle and it's already showing signs of needing repairs. I will definitely be getting more of this axe, but I will have to rewrap the handle myself after just a couple days worth of solid use.

love this axe! This is the 2nd time we bought it and not because it broke. Because my son's friend wanted the same one for his birthday. It's soft enough to hit someone and not hurt them and not break the axe either.

Great feel and durable, I use it during nerf wars on the children its great to hook them as they're running away screaming. The handle will need rewrapping after a bit though, not a huge deal.

Well, I had 3 long battles during sunny hot days 80+ and both my axes started to delaminat. Which is quite unfortunate... I really like the ruggedness. They took a beating and kept on going. But heat seems to be a foe. The wrapping on the handles is better then the swords I bought. But still, unless you have a strong grip and don't let it slide in your hand. It's going to start to come undone. Amazon is sending me replacements. I will just have to baby my new ones.
