Dog leash is heavy duty, but light weight. Well built handle is soft and comfortable on my hand. The design allows me to adjust the loop so it locks to my dogs neck size and doesn't choke him. I can get it up behind his head for better training and direction during walks. The color is beautiful, I got the blue one. The length is nice and long to let him explore. My puppy has long fur. The rope is large in diameter so it doesn't dig in like the skinny one did, seems more comfortable for him. This design works for us. Would buy again.

This is a wonderful leash for training not to pull during walks. My dog would always seem to get too excited and forget to walk with me. I would end up getting my arm pulled and sometimes hurt. With this leash he immediately remembers to slow down when he causes tension. Our walks are so much better. As soon as I feel a little tension, I can say the word ‘walk’, maybe give a very slight tug if needed, and he stops pulling. Easy. I was initially worried it would hurt his neck so I have been checking the neckline after every pull to make sure it loosens up enough. It hasn’t hurt him so far. This leash is very easy and comfortable to use. The leather makes it look nice. The spongy handle makes it easy to hold during long walks. No sweaty hands.

For training, a shorter lead is really ideal. I settled on 5 feet, but wished it were shorter. However it is well made and very sturdy..

What a difference this makes when training your dog. My dog is a rescue and who knows what she experienced before we found her. But what a difference this has made in the walks we take no more pulling much easier to control.

I take my two Boykin Spaniels out for short walks with these leashes. So easy to slip on, they don’t open by themselves and then easy to take off. The handle has a nice soft grip, I can even hold both in one hand. For longer walks they have collar with contact info and a double lead to one handle.
