New diver
I am new to diving and didn't want to spend a bunch of money on a dive watch. This fits with everything I need while I am learning. The backlight isn't constant and you need an attachment to download the dives but otherwise a great intro computer.

Single button interface annoying but manageable.
The one-button interface is a little annoying, but once you get used to it it is manageable. Instructions are lacking. Strap is good. Great value for the money. For a recreational diver: Strongly recommended.

Affordable / Simple / Effective
Purchased in 2024 and have 10 dives under my belt with it. Positives: - Simple - Works well. Has max depth, avg depth, start time, bottom time, and water temp - Will extend your dives verses uses rec dive tables - Cheap - Large Screen - Large Fonts - Turns on when you jump in the water - Battery is super cheap and easily replaced Negatives: - Only has one button, so a little clunky to navigate menus - It is a basic dive watch; don't expect it to be anything more than that - Wrist band is really long; other reviewers liked that, but it is way too long for my normal sized wrist, even in a wet suite - Directions weren't entirely clear, but was able to figure out how to use it from various YouTube videos - Positive and/or Negative: screen turns itself off, which saves your battery life, but also complicates copying your dive log - No air integration (but doesn't mean anything for me) - You won't ever use this as a watch (but also doesn't mean anything to me) I rated 4 out of 5 because this is a great, cheap dive computer. If you have simple requirements, it is the ideal dive computer. However, I also purchased the Mares Smart Air, and for just a little more money, you can get a more sophisticated computer that has two buttons and is easier to use. And the Smart Air offers air integration. If two buttons or AI doesn't matter, then save you $$ and buy this watch. Otherwise, get the Smart Air (both are by Mares)

Great product and simple to use
After MUCH research I decided to purchase this computer for our dive vacation to the Virgin Islands. This was the first dive computer that I have owned, so its hard for me to compare to others. But....I will say that after a reading the manual and a little practice with it, I didn't have any problems or issues. Great product and simple to use!

Good for beginners, but 1 of my 2 failed after 3 years and 15 dives
I bought two of these in oct 2023. Both have been on about 15 dives. The price is good for beginners ($200-ish). The screens were easy to see and beeping easy to hear on dives, N2 gauge and surface interval all clear. They are a little confusing to use but we got the hang of it After 3 years one of the computers looked like it was working but when we went diving it didn’t go into dive mode. It had low battery so when we later tried to change the battery, once new battery was in, it kept beeping nonstop and wouldn’t work After scouring some forums it looks like the depth sensor failed, and at least some people have this failure after just a few years So, just know that can happen going into a purchase here. Other one is fine and battery change on it was easy

Good Basic Dive Computer
Good for a basic dive computer. It turns on when I go in the water and gives me the information I want; depth, bottom time, remaining dive time and safety stop time. Mares didn't even include a user's manual with this, so maybe it does more.
