Bysn 1/8 T316 Stainless Steel Cable, Aircraft Cable for Deck Railing, 7 x 7 Strands Construction Braided Steel Cable, 400FT Wire Rope Cable for Railing

Very high quality cable, came quickly and was exactly as advertised, I have done much work with cable and wire over the years and this is some of the best I have used! I bought this 1/8" cable to make a driveway shade structure. I did not want to have a traditional carport/shade made of metal pipes etc. I attached three 100' cables from my garage out my long paved driveway, to two 14' poles. I created a cross cable from pole to pole, the center of that 14' high cross cable I attached a center wire to the peak of my garage. The two side cables I attached to the poles at 8' and garage at same height. I used 12' wide 90% shade cloth grommeted up and over the peak cable. I did three panels and now have 36' of shade! I can always add more as this cable is super strong and has not stretched. It regularly reaches 100-110 where I live and this has changed my ability to work and hang out in my driveway. Also, my cars are no longer 130° when we get in them saving the interior and us from heat stroke and damage. It is much better to not have any poles in the way, the side cables at 8' are easy to work, walk and drive under unobstructed. Also, by using book rings through the grommets to the side cables I can scrunch up the fabric for sun or if it gets too windy etc. The book rings also allow to be removed quickly and easily.

Worked great. Did not unravel when cut. Did not unwind continuously from spool as some spools do when unwrapped. Looks great and threaded into lags without much trouble. (We did find that if all strands weren't straight after cutting, you could still muscle the end into the lag without much difficulty.)

I used this cable to build a cable railing for my deck. It cut well, without fraying, using steel cable cutters (wire cutters don't work on braided cable). The price is good for what you get. I would buy this again if I needed more.

I really appreciated the quality once I started cutting the wires. Other stuff I have used in the past basically exploded when I cut into it. this cable stayed wrapped tightly and didn't fray at the ends when cut which saved me a ton of time and effort. Looks great - no issues to report. I did 8 rails on my deck and had a ton left over so I can do other projects later - pumped!!

Nice product. Price point is good. Installed into mahogany so that added to the timeline. I can send you a video for 25.00 to illustrate the most productive install.

Easy to cut with sharp cutters however make sure that you pick up every damn strand of cut metal otherwise you will be subjected to the worst acupuncture of your life; for it will pierce your thin soles shoes or bare feet and will embed itself and you will spend several agonizing minutes trying to remove the damn strand. I suggest having plenty of hydrogen peroxide and liquid bandaid around. You will thank me later.

The wire is working very well, was easy to use, cut and install. We have had alot of rain and so far no change in the appearance of the wire.

Idk what your going to use this for but if you want to use it for a wire railing, you won't find anything better. Along with the turnbuckle and eye straps from the same company (BYSN), I redid the railing on a porch. It looks fantastic! I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. This is a bunch of wire and its super tough. Plus its a really great price. The ONLY thing I'll say it to make sure you have a really good set of wire cutters. I had to go buy a heavy duty set to be able to cut the wire. Also, use tape to keep the wire from fraying when you cut it.
