Does exact what it promised. Augments sound from TV and SURROUNDINGs (at the touch of a button). Works perfectly with Samsung hospitality model TV. I can set the TV to any volume and Simolia works independently via the optical port. My mother did seem to prefer the sound via TV Ears digital more but one charge port broke quickly on the dual transmitter base, came with no extras doesn't work but 3 ft from the transmitter and dies after 2 to 3 hours. This Simolio comes with extra ear tips- 2 types. Washable silicone and disposable foam. It has the extra battery and needs no screw driver to open the batt cover. Interestingly it also has ear loops for those who want the device to hang from the top of your ear, up where one's eyeglasses sit. Manual is well written and almost too detailed. Sooo many ways to attach it. It's simply an A+ item. 1 nagging Neg Green Light flashes on the base after you've cut the TV off. It does that wherever the port isn't transmitting sound. So if it's in your bedroom and you hate light there like we do, be sure to cut the set off more than 10 minutes before you try to sleep to give that light time to become steady. Then cover it with something. I keep asking manufacturers to put a DARK SLEEP MODE on all electronics. Still isn't happening enough.

Great... sound is terrific

I purchased these headphones on November 23, 2024. One of the headphones stopped working about September 15, 2025 and the other one stopped working about October 1, 2025. One year warranty was still in effect. I contacted Simolio on October 25, 2024. After trying several of their suggestions, it was determined the problem was the headphones. Simolio sent replacement headphones which were received November 6, 2025. The replacement headphones are working good. Thank you, Simolio for resolving the issue in such a courteous and timely manner. Elaine Hinkle

Very straightforward installation (possibly other than configuring your TV to necessary settings, varies by TV). Sometimes you have to reposition ear buds slightly to avoid pressure points, but that's not too distracting. Nice clear sound, nice controls. I easily recommend. Update Dec 11, 2023 - I've had 2 years of flawless service from these headphones, until now. My #1 set (I bought 2 sets plus one spare battery) stopped working, so I looked at the battery, and it was swollen and oozey... obviously gone bad. So I went to headphone set #2, but this set (unused until now) had the same problem... battery was swollen and oozey. So I went to the spare battery... same problem, swollen and oozey. I don’t think this is a good thing to be happening to Lithium Ion batteries. I contacted the company, sent photo of batteries plus invoice from Amazon. They invited me to buy one new battery and they would send two additional batteries as replacements. The order arrived, only one battery shipped. I contacted them again. They have not responded in a week. My conclusion is that they have substandard batteries, charge way more money for them than equivalent similar powered batteries, and don't stand behind this part of their product. If they do eventually respond to me, with the two new promised batteries, I will come back to this review and provide an update. Update Dec 20, 2023 I've waited another 10 days, they have not responded or shipped the two promised replacement batteries. So I have reduced my original rating of 5 stars down to 1. They don't stand behind their product and don't care about customer service. If you're looking for a similar product, don't bother with Simolio.

I have hearing loss. Therefore I always have to use some kind of head phones to watch TV or movies. My husband researched a lot of headphones before buying Simolio. I really like these. The volume is good. Clarity of the sound is good they're very comfortable to wear. I've always worn over the top head headphones. They're really uncomfortable and always to big. These are great. I posted a picture of what happened to them today. A friend tried them on and I am a clean freak so I was going to clean them after he stuck them in his ears. I used alcohol and it disintegrated the earpieces in seconds. I can't image why alcohol did this. It turned out to be a costly experience. The ear piece replacements cost around $20. I will not allow other people to try them now. Yes I do recommend them

I CAN UNDERSTAND DIALOGUE AGAIN!! For several years I've been able to hear dialogue but haven't always been able to discern what was being said. It was noise that I couldn't decipher. These headphones took me less than 5 minutes to install and I'm a 72-year-old woman. I can adjust volume, left and right speakers, bass, treble and best of all, I can comprehend dialogue again. There are options too. They work well whether you want to mute your tv so others don't have to hear it while you use your headphones OR you can have sound from both the tv and your headphones OR you can have sound from just the tv without the headphones. It's been a game changer for me and if you have trouble understanding what's being said on tv these days, try the Simolio headphones.

Sono perfette per l'utilizzo da parte di un pubblico in là con gli anni. Coprono un'alta distanza, anche a svariati metri si sentono perfettamente. Le ho settate con il cavo ottico, in questo modo gli altoparlanti del televisore continuano a sentirsi. Nella confezione ci sono tutti i cavi che occorrono, una terza batteria di scorta, istruzioni molto chiare in italiano e qr code al loro sito per estensione di garanzia.

I was a tad apprehensive buying this dual headset, for myself and for my wife. After using them for a week, we are both very impressed with the sound, the ease of use and of all the accessories that are included. This is a very well thought out set. We can now hear speech with pure crystal clear clarity, but for me, best of all, is the subleties like birds singing in in the background or a stream gurgling that do enhance TV watching, are now there. These sounds normally would certainly go unheard by me. The docking station and headphones are neat and very easy to set up, there is a volume control to hand on the headset along with balance for your left or right ear and even a little Mic button on the back to enable normal conversation if required. Treble and Bass are available on the docking station, plus stereo or mono. A spare charged battery is held in the docking station for the headphones. Placing the headphones in the cradle after use, charges both pair simultaneously. For us the included items provided were all we required. Plug in the power, attach the digital cable or RCA jack directly to the source, switch on and enjoy. The only criticism I would mention is that after a couple of hours of TV listening my ears do feel just a little uncomfortable but I can happily live with this because of the sound quality.... Brilliant. I will try the different ear caps that are provided and adjustments to the bendable arms to achieve a little more comfort. (It could just be my ears getting used to them.) In all these headphone are highly recommended to anyone who struggles with hearing TV sound, they won't do your street cred any good, but who cares? Importantly both of us are now very happy with our purchase, and we are enjoying our television again. :)

They are good. I live in a condo, and I needed to be able to hear TV at 2 AM lol just wish a little more bass but they do the job oh ya I could have got the big cushion cup I have them all ready but after a while ears hurt and sweat these

Nachdem wir zunächst die Alternative des gleichen Herstellers kauften, die man um den Hals trägt mit einzelnen kleinen Ohrhörern, haben wir uns umentschieden und diese SIMOLIO Dual gekauft. Hiermit nun sind wir nun hoch zufrieden. Die Handhabung ist leicht und angenehm und der Tragekomfort gut. Funktion und Ton sind einwandfrei und Sprache sehr gut zu verstehen. An einem der Höhrer fiel nach ein paar Monaten der Lautsprecher auf einer Seite aus. Ohne Problem wurde sofort ein Ersatz geliefert. Die 30 € mehr gegenüber dem erstgenannten Modell haben sich mehr als gelohnt.
