I tried this 2 weeks ago and wanted to wait to leave a review to see how it held up. First of all.. let me mention this is my first time ever getting a keratin treatment professionally or otherwise. i’m a pretty quick learner so I had no doubt I could do this. my hair is very long virgin european hair.. almost to my waist, thick, and pretty curly (and frizzy).. it looks great in the winter (on cold days) but humid summers are a joke. I’ve lived in south florida 25 years and i’ve probably worn my hair down maybe 20 times in 25 yrs. I used to leave my house with straight hair in the morning, but five minutes later, even in the car, it would just poof up and get really frizzy and kinky so I would just grab hairspray and slick it back in a ponytail and I’ve done that for decades. I did notice a difference when I switched to higher quality products, but I still couldn’t tame the frizz. I spent the last week in November in New Jersey and my hair was so soft and so straight. I was so happy. Then it came back and it went back to its normal unruly self. So I did a lot of research on a lot of products and many of cheaper products with a lot more steps also had a lot more people that had bad experiences in the feedback. So that scared me. When I got to this price range, I stopped seeing so many scary reviews and decided on this one. 1. Followed step-by-step. Actually let the product sit on my hair for about an hour and a half before I blew it dry and straightened it. I straightened it very many times, but apparently not enough because when I washed it later that day… It says you can wash immediately… And you kind of have to it makes your hair feel very greasy and tacky.. but anyway once I washed it and blew it dry, it had a ton of curl left in it BUT it was already a whole different texture. It was like a child’s hair lol it was so soft and manageable and the frizz was gone.. but I wasn’t happy with the outcome because I realized I probably didn’t straighten it enough, especially around the roots where I get the kinks… so I did it again. 2. Followed each step again and this time I flat ironed it at least 20 times each section. Washed it dried it, and it just had a little bit of curl left. The product is very safe and very easy on your hair. In my experience anyway so I gave it one more shot! 3. Same as usual, flattened the heck out of it and washed it. It still will not bone dry straight, but I am so happy with my hair right now! I don’t recognize it at all. it was actually raining today meaning very humid and I went out in the drizzling rain to go to the store and came back and my hair hadn’t moved at all. It was still so incredibly flat, which is really good. That’s what I’m going for I’m just not used to it being so hydrated and basically I need to get used to using much less product because my hair gets heavy and greasy very quickly. I didn’t take any before photos, but I’m so mad at myself that I didn’t try this years ago. I’m 41 years old and finally like my hair. I’ve spent my whole life hating my hair and I finally love it. I’m not gonna try this product again only because I had to do it three times and I know the second time I did it perfectly… I know it’s more or less smoothing treatment which it definitely does do but I didn’t get the results as expecting, but I’m starting to think my expectations were unrealistic. But I got a different product for next time and it’s two weeks after the treatment and my hair is still unrecognizable in a very good way!!

I decided to try Cachita's keratin because I was using a very strong one and wanted something that would leave my hair healthy, smooth, and straight without damaging it. I loved it! It leaves my hair super soft, manageable, and naturally shiny, and the best part is it doesn’t have that strong smell that other keratins have. I love this product, they give a lot of shine to My clients hair, they are a light heavy, but wash after and they are just fine. I love the result! Give me almost a 100% straight

Be careful when using this product. Make sure you have a mask and eye protection as this product produces strong fumes. The key is to get proper ventilation especially on the part when you have to use the hair iron. The effect is probably around a few weeks and have to retouch again. Will not recommend this to people with asthma or have breathing problems. Not worth it especially when the effect doesn't last long. When you use it however and don't wash your hair for 3 days, effect might last a little longer.
