will this fertilizer work on evergreen trees

I guess the easy answer is yes. A 5-1-1- formula really can't hurt much of any plants. The deeper question is why use this type of fertilizer on an evergreen tree in the first place. Evergreens live in an environment that primarily have a somewhat acidic soil. They don't need a fish emulsion based fertilizer, but they do like lots of nitrogen for their tremendous growth potential. And most established evergreen trees really don't need extra fertilizer anyway, and a 5-1-1- formula won't do much, if anything. I hope that helps.

what is the mix ratio for vegtables

I use a 10 gallon hose end sprayer an set the dial for 2oz

I have stray cats in my neighborhood that enter my yard during spring/summer. Will they attack my container plants if I use this product?

Premier 1 fencing. It will keep them all out of your garden. Ya if you have a large garden it will cost a lot but it does keep the critters out. I have 2 acres in Steuben County NY just 1 mile from PA border. rich boy ouws all the land around me and feeds deer. To have a garden I had to spend 4 grand and put up a primer 1 deer fence all around. Then inside that fence I have other fences around gardens to keep my cats out and more fences to keep my chickens in.. al told i have about 6 grand in fencing but i have my food supply protected from wide animals. I figure I will make my money back in about five years. My two acres is all food little or no grass. I sell about half of what I grow. Use a lot of fish fertilizer. Have lived here for 20 years now. Ground just getting real good.

Amazing product for the garden.

I have used this Alaska Fish Emulsion in the past and it has been great for my vegetables, especially my leafy greens. I just add about 1/4 cup to my 2-gallon water can, and it provides great results. The smell is fishy but not overpowering. It says on the jug it is deodorized with natural wintergreen, but I don't smell the wintergreen. Good Stuff.

My Grandfather always had the most beautiful garden and flowers. I asked him his secret and he said "Fish fertilizer from Alaska" I don't know for sure if this is the same one but I'll let ya know how my garden likes it. I will say that I applied it about 4 days ago now and my plants have already started growing in size!!

I was already very familiar with this product before purchasing from Amazon -- used to buy at "brick and mortars" purely from habit. But because the bottle is heavy and somewhat bulky to lug home, the convenience of Amazon delivering right to one's doorstep cannot be denied. My delivery arrived speedily with nary a leak or spill. Unscrew the safety cap (press down as you turn) and you will find a magic brown elixir within -- more viscous than molasses because it pours "slower than molasses." As the mixture plops and slurps its way out of the bottle, the deep, rich fragrance of ocean fish rises up, filling the nostrils in a pleasant way. I suppose you could say it's stinky, but this is a clean smell, quite bracing to the senses, not in any way fermented, rotted, spoiled, or stomach-churning. If you have ever spent time at the ocean or in a fishmonger's shop, you know what I mean. It's dimensional: very much a fragrance rather than a smell. All plants love a good fish dinner. As far as they're concerned, the dinner they get from this bottle is prime. They quickly let you know it's good chow and they'd appreciate more if you have it. The more they get, the happier they are. The product is safe, gentle, all natural, non-burning. I never measure. I simply put a goodly amount in my watering can, maybe enough to cover the bottom, whatever feels right. Then I dump in other nutrients, both liquid and powdered, depending on "who" I'm feeding, and we're good to go. Because I live in the desert, I water deeply both before and after feeding with my hose to ensure maximum absorption through the roots. This is a wonderful product. It is full strength, not watered down. Highly recommend.
