Don’t use anything else
This is the best polish hands down. My husband will not buy anything else. He spent HOURS with other polishes trying to shine his boots. There were no kiwi polishes locally so he thought he’d try something else and was gravely disappointed. He used two coats of this and it was like night and day difference. All of his other coworkers and higher-ups only use this as well. As far as the sender goes, the product came damaged and they gave us a refund almost immediately. I’m very happy with this product and will be buying again.

Go home and get your shinebox
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I miss the little spindle that would open the can. Now that the lid must be opened with the fingers alone, it's harder to ensure a complete seal when closing. Still, great for when you have to go home and get your shinebox.

How to open the first time
Opening it the first time was very difficult. I tired pressing “press here” many times. Finally I read online to get a small flat-head screwdriver and pry all around, and that worked. ***Not in one spot, or you can warp the metal and the polish dries out. *** Now it opens with Press Here. Good polish otherwise

never goin back to a diff brand again
my dad & a bunch of coworker recommended this brand of shoes polish to me, & man it made shining my boots for correctional work a lot easier & faster! love how its already smooth & ready to go on & i didnt have to put a lighter to it to melt it like i had to with Angelus brand. see why military ppl use it!

Good polish
Polish went on smooth. Not waxy at all. Deep black shine.

Disappointed
Haven't shined boots in over 10 years. Decided to give a pair a shine with some of the stuff I used to use (Kiwi). No more "key" on the side to open. You can literally smell the difference between the old product and the new. I don't know what entirely changed in their formula, but it's not as good as it once was.
