I wear a size 8 1/2 what size should I get? My foot is a little wide but not super wide (I don't have to buy wide shoes when i shoe shop)

I wear a 9 1/2" Wide. This shoe is not offered in a wide. I ordered a 10 hoping that it would fit (I really wanted the neon colored shoes). Unfortunately size 10 was extremely tight. I returned the shoes. I would not suggest this shoe for someone with a wide foot even if you order a size or two bigger.

Can a man wear this? Or does it look specifically for women?

I would not think a man would wear these. They are a womans sneaker and pretty much look like they're for women in my opinion. (I asked my husband and he said no way would he ever wear these).

Leather/Suede, felt, or rubber? Looking to use for sneakers for indoor dancing. What material is the outer sole?

I'm a dancer and I've worn these shoes to dance (mostly swing dance) on many occasions. The soles are a relatively hard rubber, so they are fine for dancing on many surfaces but are not suited to particularly slippery floors. The sole is nice and flat and flexible so if you are looking for cheap shoes that you can suede yourself I would recommend these. I did ruin a pair dancing on particularly hot asphalt, so maybe be aware of that.
