Cooled down the motor for sure
So my car is supposed to have a 180* but while normal driving it would tickle around the 205* and I didn't like seeing it. Once I swear the fuel line hydro locked from heat boiling the gas out of the fuel line. Not positive that is what happened, but I didn't like being stranded. Changing it to 160* keeps the temp below 190* makes me feel 100% better. I don't worry about sitting in traffic now. I may need to change it back in the winter š„¶

Working well
My 95 Tahoe was running to hot so I replaced it with this thermostat and it keeps the temperature down low. Very happy with it.
