But I did assume that a box of four books would be four consecutive books in the series, hopefully starting with number 1. There was no information in the desertcart blurb to say which numbers they were in the series, but my friend told me they were number 2, 4, 5, and 6. So I now need to buy him 1 and 3, so he can read them in order! Not impressed.

I bought this as a present for a friend so can't comment on the quality of the writing. But I did assume that a box of four books would be four consecutive books in the series, hopefully starting with number 1. There was no information in the Amazon blurb to say which numbers they were in the series, but my friend told me they were number 2, 4, 5, and 6. So I now need to buy him 1 and 3, so he can read them in order! Not impressed.
