The pictures show closing the battery cover with the power connector plugged into the virtual battery. It can't happen with the M50. The post that supplies power to the virtual battery is way too tall. This makes the adapter useless for the Canon EOS M50. UPDATE: What I didn't realize is that the rubber cover on the Battery Door of the M50 lifts up. This exposes the jack that the power connector connects to. I used it today for 1.5 hrs in a family Zoom Meeting and it worked flawlessly. I should take a star or two off for the lousy directions and pictures, however that is not what the stars are for. I am very happy with this. I will update again should things change.

I got this for a Canon M50 mirrorless camera. Works great. I didn't want to keep charging the batteries every half hour. I wanted to just plug in my camera and not worry. Does the job. The only downside is that in order for me to transfer photos to my computer the old fashioned way (with a USB cable), I have to plug this power chord in too or the camera won't power on at my computer. I could swap this battery out for the real battery. but that would be a lot of effort. So, just keep in mind you'll have to bring the camera and the power chord over to your computer every time (unless you do wireless transfer). But it does exactly what it's supposed to do - power your camera when you don't want to rely on batteries!! Works for me

This product arrived perfectly in the box but just did not work. I tried pushing it in more since it seemed loose, but nothing. I would not purchase this product again. It also feels very flimsy

Super cheap. You can tell by the plastic. I was wary using it but it did the job just fine and worked for my camera, Canon M50 for quite a few hours. Didn’t do an 8+ hr test but I don’t need to for my needs right now. If you’re on a budget, this will do the job. It’s still new for me so idk how long it will last.
