Walking Cane With Seat for Seniors Folding Lightweight 400lbs with LED Light

Bought it for partner after trying it on Costa Rica trip where someone was using it on our hikes. It weighs under 2 lbs. the seat is comfortable and can support at least 250 lbs. it comes with a very nice flashlight but I don’t know why. Also has a velvety seat cover that keeps coming off. But neither of those are necessary. The price was reasonable and it now makes our walks/hikes last a little longer. So glad I bought it.

This is easy to put together and adjust in various ways to your needs. As others have said, anatomy makes a difference. If you have a protruding belly where you carry all your weight, you will not be able to safely sit on this because you have to straddle it to sit safely and you risk not being able to get close enough to line up with the seat. If your higher weight is distributed throughout your body, this will work for you. The weight is good to use as a cane and carry around. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because I seriously question the weight this holds safely. The listing says 440 lbs - no way can you sit on this safely at that weight. I actually took this to a meeting and enlisted friends to “try it out.” Everyone had a body that allowed them to correctly straddle the seat safely, so it was just height and weight. Female 5’6” 145 lbs - felt safe and loved it Male 5’10” 172 lbs - felt safe sitting, thought it was good, but felt 20-30 minutes was max due to sitting in one position too long Female 5’ 2” 192 lbs - felt safe and loved it Male 6’ 3” 214 lbs - it was good to sit on but felt the cane part was not high enough to walk with, and the hand grip was too narrow for his hand Female 5’ 3” 234 lbs - it held her fine and felt safe as long as she didn’t move around much and she questioned the strength of the legs over time Female 5’ 6” 250 lbs - it held her but she felt it was too unsteady to safely sit on. Recommendation - lower the max weight to 250 lbs or lower. Realistically, I would say you are probably OK up to 220 lbs, but more than that, it becomes less safe and practical to use.

I got two of these. They are very light, and easy to carry. The seat is comfortable enough for a half-hour sit down. The three legs give adequate balance. It's kind'a weird to have the stem of the cane come up between your legs, but I found that I could hang my purse on it while I sat. Oh, if you're just standing somewhere, you can hang bags, purses, etc. on the handle of the cane. I got one with a light built into the handle, which has proved useful. The other cane had a light which could be attached to the handle but that didn't work out. Better go with the 'in-handle' light. Holds 275 pounds--amazing.

Great idea. Poor execution. The tripod feet are too close together to provide the sort of stability needed for a mobility-impaired individual. I tried it twice and fell both times. My wife, who is much smaller than I, also fell over. If some is smaller and has good balance, this may work reasonably well. It is not a good design for larger individuals.

I bought this because I am a big man and the weight limit that was advertised is what I weighed. Sometimes, I need to stand in line, but I cannot stand for very long. I thought this would be good for such a use.....sit for a minute or so while waiting. Doesn't work for big people. Would work for slender people quite nicely. Would've returned it, but settled for partial refund and kept it. Maybe a plant stand?

Great product, has helped me several times. I'm around 250 lbs and not a problem with it at all. Sit the way it says to and there are NO problems...do something else stupid and you'll regret it, just as advertised. Like the free accessories that came with it except the seat cover is too small and will not stay on at all...I may glue it down :o) Highly recommend this Cane/Seat!!

I don’t know why people give 1 star for this thing. Somebody fell at the first sit. Obviously they don’t read the manual. You simply sit with the handle in front of you and that also helps when you need to stand up. You sit the wrong way, you fall, as simple as that. This is my 2nd chair cane as I used to forget it when I hop into my car. Back pain is not fun without frequent seating every short moment. I am happy that I chose this 400 lbs version and my weight is 220 lbs. it is ver sturdy unlike my other 300 lbs version. The flashlight with handling is a plus. However I have a big complaint. The nice seat cover came off easily and I lost it. The seat cover design needs to improve, some strings to tie it to the cane is superb. I can live without the cover, but it was there and it should be secured. Bottom line. This is a lifesaver for me. I have 2 of them.

If you have to stand in a long line this is really a handy cane. Gives you a seat to rest although not the most comfortable it is a place to sit

i have something to sit on when i need it. not too handy as a Cain.

If you are going someplace where you don't know how far you have to walk, or how long you will have to stand in a line-up, this is the cane for you! Perfect for airports! Just make sure you have it locked in place before you sit or you might feel it move. I bought this before a vacation, and many people in the airport and in the destination stopped to enquire where I got it. It does weigh about 3 pounds, so is heavier than my regular cane.

It’s a life saver. I don’t know what I would do without it

It is very lightweight yet sturdy. Seat is quite comfortable and when used as shown, it feels very stable. Handle is excellent.

Seat cover did not suit so I made another. It was pink and item was for my husband.
