Great quality Amazing design Has held up very well

I bought this as a "just because" gift for my niece who likes things witchy, and I wish I'd bought one for myself, because it instantly had me in its spell! It's a charming cup for serious and lighthearted folk alike. And it's great for the serious coffee-drinker too. It'll hold plenty of your most magical brew. The cup has a good heft to it, and the handle is big enough that you'll be able to keep a good grip while stirring up a strong potion to keep you awake during the day. It seems to have enough glazing that the white lettering will stand up to the typical unlucky stains that cross your path. If you loan this to your little goblins to drink Kool Aid, you may want to bid it a merry parting. But the average soda (curse the thought!), tea (we can be friends but not covenmates), and coffee drips should clean up nicely. So stir up your best sludge and cast that brain fog to the shadows where it belongs! This whimsical coffee mug works magick on your morning blues.

First things first: it comes VERY securely packaged, so no worries about damage in transit. It also arrives in an attractive box, so as a gift, no worries about how to wrap it, or the recipient opening pretty wrapping paper to see plain cardboard. The cup itself is absolutely gorgeous in person. It feels good and is comfortable to hold - smooth non-glossy texture, thick and sturdy so it doesn't go lava hot in your hand, big enough for fancy foamy coffee. It cleans up easily, too.

I absolutely love the look of this mug. It's nice to have a cup of tea and see the moon and stars pattern fade to darkness toward the bottom. I was somewhat concerned that the stars might rub off or become damaged when I stir drinks with a metal spoon, but I have been using the mug for a while now and I've had no such issues. Because it is so wide rather than tall, hot drinks have quite a bit of exposed surface area and they cool off faster than with other mugs I own. I find this to be a good thing, because my tea can get to my optimal drinking temperature faster, but it's worth keeping in mind that a drink probably won't stay piping hot as long. Overall, this is my favorite piece of drink ware and it has been lovely to use.

I had been wanting this mug for months and finally decided to treat myself to it recently. It is so beautiful, and after a couple of goes in the dishwasher it's holding up. It feels a bit expensive for a mug, but ultimately it adds that little bit extra to my coffee drinking experience and hopefully it's of a quality that will last a long time. Also, I know this isn't necessarily to do with the mug itself, but the box it came in is so pretty as well. 😅 Currently figuring out what to use it for.
