Just a bit confused on how magnesium floats work. - Seller is experienced and prompt in delivery. Not sure if the magnesium float works best with the powder coated paint or without it. I was under the impression that the magnesium float did its smooth float job due to the contact of magnesium with the concrete. But if the magnesium is powder coated with pait, how does it achieve what its supposed to achieve is my dilema. Would be good is someone would experiment with a d without the powder coat paint and publish the results via a video upload. As let the finishing trowel, it looks a quality product.
