Handmade Mini 2" Blown Glass Hippo Figurine Art

We got ourselves a house hippo! Are very own fictional, tiny creature from a famous 1999 Canadian public service announcement (PSA) designed to teach media literacy, reminding viewers not to believe everything they see. It has since become a nostalgic Canadian icon for critical thinking and a popular thrift-culture, good-luck charm figurine. The quality is great, and it's adorable.

It's tiny, but it was perfect for my needs. I have it to a friend who always loving referred to her orange horse as her orange hippo... and when she had to put him down and was, of course, heartbroken. I searched for Orange Hippo and found this. So perfect.

Smaller than expected. But works perfectly in my theme.

The person I gave it to really enjoyed it. It looks very close to the pictures posted about the product.

It is very cute. I knew it would be small. Shadowbox small.

I collect glass figurines. I have many of them. This is a nice one for the price. I bought items from them before, and all are good quality. Some reviews mention that the hippo is small, yes it is but it is more difficult to make something small out of glass, so that makes it cooler to me.

Very nice piece. Great detailing. Perfect for shadow box or display case.

Thus was a gift for my son. He loved it.
